Immersion blender... sorry:) To make all those wonderful blender wand thing to blend without having to always clean my full size blender, because we all know that is a pain in the butt. My Dr still has me on liquids as well but for 3 weeks before mushy foods.. Did you ever think that you would look forward to mushy food lol

OK, too funny I replied to the other post then saw this and thought omg twins.. I have lost 6 pounds as well.

I am ready, I think:) I have bought a food scale, emersion mixer and an instant pot along with a new bathroom scale ha ha. Now just to get Tuesday here and done with:) How about you besides the shopping?

I have to do blood thinner for 2 weeks. They didn’t give me the rest at my appointment on the 27th and I have no more appointments before Tuesday.

I also have BCBS and my BMI was 39.1 and no other qualifiers I unfortunately gained a few pounds which put me higher but I got approval with 39.9 thank god.

Love it!!! Never thought there would be a day I would be excited for mushy food lmao

My dr is only 4 protein shakes and 2 protein bars per day. With that I can add 3 sugar free jello or popsicles and that is all.

My insurance did not require any pre approval diet, just to qualify for the BMI

I am not very nervous I am just ready to get the weeks of all liquids over and move on to those fabulous mushy food ha ha ha

Good luck today! I hope it all goes smoothly and you walk out knowing you have clearance!!!! Test went great and I have the last unexpected thing out of the way and now can just do a surgery countdown!!! 11 days to go:) YaY!!!

Thank you all, I will get this out of the way first thing in the morning and pray that the test is enough to get that clearance that I desperately need. Hopefully she will tell me when I wake up.

RANT:::: Thinking my pre op yesterday was going to be a breeze I should have been a little more prepared for just something to not go as planned:( I had an endoscopy in 2015 which the nurse a few weeks ago in my bariatric office said should be fine and she would consult with the dr to make sure and that NO news was good news. Well when the office called telling me my cardiologist had not sent the clearance letter they also asked about my endoscopy.. which of course I said I was told it was ok to use the 2015 per the nurse. So after I left yesterday I had to call the gastro office to have them send consent to the other office -- Not that easy because they called this morning playing phone tag telling me that the gastro dr said NO NO NO I had to do another test or she would not send any consent for clearance OMG!!! Really!! So I was able to get an appt for 4/3 and within 15 minutes that appt was taken away because my procedure has to be done in a hospital not at the alt. location because they would not accept me with health issues:( So before the office closed I FINALLY was told it would be tomorrow morning. More time off just what I was trying to avoid. Hope everyone else has better luck, I just thought I was so much better prepared, and they pull this extra stress on me when I can't eat... Mean just Mean ha ha! RANT OVER:)

I wish tough mudder was a little further away to have more time to heal because I would love to do that one.

OK, so if you are the 8th and start tomorrow I think someone couldn't add and gave me an extra day ha ha. I thought my liquids start on the 26th which is 2 weeks exactly:) I didn't want to start on my long Monday at work.

I am on the same date, but sorry I can’t help. My surgeon doesn’t require it. Oh, I am so jealous ha ha.

@Romanoloser we have the same date of 4/9, can you tell me what day you start your liquid diet please.. Or anyone else on the same day. Just curious if the didn't put the correct date:) Thank you all
