    Total loss

I am 8 weeks into my weight loss journey... my total loss is 27 lb... I am thrilled with this loss... I was stalled for about 2 1/2 weeks and I think I am moving past that... it feels good not worrying about losing ... I am fine with a slow loss because I know it will come off eventually...

    When NOTHING sounds good

Thank you for the feedback!! I will take advantage!!!
  3. I am 5 weeks out of surgery and having the hardest time eating!! Nothing sounds good... I have to make myself eat... my poor kids (14 and 16) May never get a home cooked meal again!! On the plus side they are learning to cook!! I know this is so new and I am sure over time things will change..

    Upper GI

I was going to have the sleeve but because of the Barrett’s my surgeon suggested the bypass as it would Eliminate the heartburn/Gerd...other wise hubby and I would have both had the sleeve...

    Upper GI

I had a scope and tested positive for Barrett’s esophagus ... so I had to have the bypass... my husband had his surgery the same day and he had the Sleeve.... I can not believe the difference in how we feel and the heeling proses...
  6. I am about 3 weeks post-op and for the most part doing well... I had pulled the 2 stitches they put in to prevent a hernia about a week after surgery and thought my insides were being ripped apart! No joke!! So that is getting better slowly... i am having trouble wanting any food, it’s like my stomach has no emotion, I smell things and and have no desire to eat... I have to make myself ... I have always been a serious coffee drinker and now I could really do with out... it’s just really weird...
