Not a subject I want to ask about buuut here I am. Is there such thing as late dumping? I had a couple things this weekend that I know I shouldn’t have and woke up this morning and till right now with a watery bowel movement. The only thing that I can think of that can be a reason to it is that I had 2% milk yesterday morning (normally I have Fairlife fat free) and it wasn’t even half a cup that I Drank. I ended up rushing to the restroom after about 2 oz in to vomit and it’s the only thing that came up. I’ve had a weird feeling in my stomach (not like a pain but like something similar to how you feel when bloated) and with a slight headache. I been good on my water until this weekend I lagged.

Been there I had the same problem but I gained 3 lbs. My surgeon said my body is use to having only liquids that when I started to incorporate soft foods, my body went into shock but don’t worry you’ll lose it quickly!

It would come and go so much in the beginning like in my first month or two that my surgeon prescribed me anti nausea medicine. Since they prescribed I haven’t needed them but I carry them everywhere just in case

Trying to get started, but no idea how!!
Bianca S. replied to unicornqueen822's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello! I was in the same boat as you! I’m 22 and for the last couple of years I was doing my research on WLS. I had to get my gallbladder removed last year due to having some pain from the stones. My 2 week post op appointment the doctor who did it asked me if anyone has talked to me about WLS. And that’s how I got started, that very same day of DEC 5 2018. Now i am almost 3 months post op. My advice would be call your insurance or even go to your primary care doctor and ask about WLS and ask for a referral to a Bariatric surgeon. Have a consultation appointment and they can actually let you know before continuing the process what your insurance covers and what they ask of your -
What to wear to the hospital and home
Bianca S. replied to Gina_baby's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I wore a baggy T-shirt and comfy leggings and my Birkenstock’s. And that’s all I needed. Besides clothes the other thing I used was my phone and charger as well as chapstick and lotion. Don’t over pack hehe -
What are you guys using to lighten up your scars? I’m Almost 3 months post op and my incision scars are still very dark. Also I’m almost a year post op from getting my gallbladder removed and those scars are still also dark.

For all my 3 month post op people! What are you eating and how much? What are you having for your protein? I’m getting tired of ground turkey, tuna and tilapia.

I am beyond happy! Now I only have 40 lbs to get to my first weight goal of 180 and total of 80 lbs to till I hit my ultimate goal of 140. Normally I weigh myself on Mondays but this week so many people at work such as parents and coworkers (I work at a school) Have commented “ hey skinny you” or “ hey smaller you”. So I have decided to weigh myself a little early yesterday morning, and I checked the scale three times because I couldn’t Believe what I saw on the scale. And not even a week I had lost 4.8lbs! Last week I lost 3.8 pounds. Before that for the last four weeks I had been losing only 2.8 and most pounds a week. So I started to do some YouTube research and people were upping There calories a little. And that is what helped me lose some more I just upped my calories by 100-150. So far so good. On the November 19 it will be my three month postop and I I have my three month postop appointment with my surgeon on the 18th, I cannot wait to see where I am at exactly 3 months. I am just So excited. I am only 11 weeks out

Reaction to incision glue?!
Bianca S. replied to Megan Catherine's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes I actually had the rash on my sides and a big red circle around my incision but it was not infected. My surgeon had instructed me to carefully remove the glue at three weeks postop. But that was what my surgeon said I if I were you I would wait to see what yours tells you. Good luck -
How much did or are you eating at 3 weeks post op VSG? Tomorrow will be my 3 weeks post op. I’m curious if I’m eating too much (I can eat up to 4oz). The pictures attached are all the guidelines I was given and even on the example meal plan seems way too much. I wasn’t given a calorie goal or anything. My mom was curious on how I was doing so she had me go on the scale Thursday and I had gained 1.6lbs. I know it’s not much but because I’m only on week 3. I make my protein goal of 50-60 grams a day but I’m always short from my 64oz of water by 20oz. I been back to work for 4 days now and I make it a priority to walk home from work since I live not even a mile from my job. Some NSV I have had since surgery are that I can almost touch my thumb and middle finger together around my wrist, I can sit on a conference room chair comfortably without the arm rests going into the sides of my thighs (now it still does but not as much as it use to), I see my face slimmer and as well as my stomach, I can wear jackets I had to put in the back of my closet because my arms were too big and I couldn’t zip them up.

3 weeks post op + weight gain
Bianca S. replied to Bianca S.'s topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Please be careful on what you eat! Were you allowed by surgeon to eat a bread stick? It is important to follow instructions so early on you don’t want to hurt your new stomach. I heard some people don’t feel the restriction till a couple weeks after. -
