So my symptoms got worse and I went to the ER... turns out I have a kidney stone! They gave me some meds and I’m now feeling better... whew!!

Day 3 post op for me. Everything has been going so welll until this morning. I think I drank my breakfast too fast and started vomiting, mostly foam. I also have this terrible sharp pain in my lower back. called the doctor and took some pain meds, starting to feel a bit better. Hopefully the dr calls me soon, I just need reassurance that I’m ok. hope everyone else is doing ok! PMP 😊

Hope everyone who had surgery today’ (8th) is doing good! So far so good! So far so good for me, just a little pain, like I’ve done 3,000 sit ups, haha and I’ve had lots of naps today and made several laps around the nurses station . Wishing everyone a speedy recovery! 😊😊

Congrats, Jojo! Glad to hear everything went well. I had my gallbladder out many years ago and remember the pain was awful! My surgery is on the 8th. Happy healing 😊

I just started day 3 of the liver shrink! I’ve been drinking a lot of crystal light to keep full, I think I’m going to float away 🤣 Good of luck to you!

Hi March Buddies! Just got a call from the hospital and my surgery is scheduled for 4:30 PM!?!? Hopefully as it gets closer, they move it up. Getting ready to start the protein shakes on Friday. Hope everyone is doing well 😊

I started gaining weight in 3rd grade and by the next year, I was officially overweight. I was teased by all the boys and having a name that rhymed with fat didn’t help. In my mind’s eye, I think I am “just a little chubby” vs. the reality of being morbidly obese. I try to avoid full length photos (shoulders and above only, please) as well as full length mirrors. My surgery is 3 weeks from today and I’m starting to get super nervous but also looking forward to saying good bye to “Fatty Patti “.

A few months ago I went on a business trip with a colleague and didn’t fit in my coach seat. My co-worker was kind enough to lift the arm rest, but I was so embarrassed to be in her space that I barely moved during the four hour flight. The next day, I signed up for the info session through my surgeon’s office.
