Day 9) meditation. I REALLY need it but haven’t done any yet. Today and tomorrow are going to be stressful getting my mom ready for her Drs appointment tomorrow . Bathing, hair washing , etc today and tomorrow just the physicality of actually getting her there, into the office and and home. So much we take for granted! It seems like such a small thing, doesn’t it? Drs appointment , no big deal 🥴 I think I’m going to check out that Calm app as well. It’s one of the top suggestions in Apple health.

Only for the first month - six weeks but not because of caffeine. Because of the acidity. Same as why I couldn’t do fruits (other than bananas)

How exciting!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I’ve always loved eggs and luckily for me that didn’t change after surgery. I like them scrambled, over easy, frittata’s, omelettes, poached, hard boiled. You name it (or fix it ) I’ll eat it 😊

7) work up a sweat - done! From both a workout this morning and this evening fixing sons bday dinner. We had tacos, both beef and fish. They were awesome!!!

5) garden. Will do a little weeding later and hubs is mowing the grass as I type. Today is our 35th wedding anniversary . This is always a full week for us with my bday, our anniversary, youngest sons bday and then Mother’s Day. We’re doing a low key day and heading to a park with daughter and grandson for a hike and packed lunch. Everyone enjoy their day be it lazy or active 😍

Only cds anymore but even those hardly get played anymore. It’s usually always my playlists through my phone, even in my car

Somewhere I found a great Thai sauce using pb2 powder (might’ve even been from a fellow user on here). It was very easy and good. If I remember correctly it was basically pb2 and soy but you’d have to google. Other than that my experimenting with pb2 has been protein smoothies, energy balls and to dip my apples or celery in. But I DO love it !!! found one similar to the one I tried and she is using it on chicken lettuce wraps but I left out chopped peanuts https://hungerthirstplay.com/low-calorie-spicy-thai-peanut-dressing-11/

I can relate. I love birds and have had a few as pets and as much as I wanted to teach them to sit on my finger or talk I couldn’t take them being out of their cage. I blame my gramma for letting her parakeets fly around the house and the movie BIRDS didn’t help 😂😂😂

I’ve had the grandkids the last couple of days but I did manage to 2) make some art (adult coloring books count, right?) 3) watch a performance . I LOVE movies so I’ll take that as my performance . Most recently watched Passengers. Was pretty good imho 4) early night . I used to be a night owl but with grandson living with is it’s just not a possibility. Last night I was ready for it to be bedtime at 7:30 but I held off til a respectable 9:30 or so. Then elderly dog had a rough night and woke me up to go outside every two hours. Thank God he still makes it outside though, so no complaints! I haven’t been doing the push ups but I have been doing lots of arm work on weight machine. It’s amazing to me how much more active I’ve become and how much more I WANT to do!!!

Yep! These sorts of events can have life long impacts. Some other kid told me at Girl Scout camp that snakes and raccoons live in the bottom of outhouses. To this day I’m still leery even though I know it’s highly improbable 😱
