Haha!! Was just reading through the list. How many of us are going to be doing #6? 😂😂😂 I art journal and I’ve been away from it for a very long time. I recently started it back up as a way to distract myself when the nighttime snacking monster rears it’s ugly head. I’d forgotten how much I enjoy it and how much I NEED some time just for me.

You’re doing so well and have such a great attitude @MassMan! Keep up the great work and good luck on the elliptical today . I made the mistake of doing some resistance bands too early (not realizing it would engage my core!) and set my recovery back by about a week. That sneeze could be your new “I’m full” signal. Has something to do with the vagus nerve . I don’t get it as often now but right after surgery a sneeze or hiccups were my cue I was done. Keep up the great work and I know your day to day posting is helping many 😎

It’s normal for our loved ones to have fears. There are risks from ANY surgery but there are also REAL risks that are practically guaranteed with long term obesity. I couldn’t agree more with @S@ssen@ch and @Danny Paul, the real work is with our head . I didn’t realize how much I depended on food until it was gone . If I could’ve faced those demons at 28 instead of 57 I could’ve avoided so much damage to this poor body. Good luck on your decision . On a side note - I had no complications and absolutely no regrets 👍🏻

Truth !!!

My surgeon wasn’t listed on here at the time of my surgery either but was quickly afterwards. They are constantly updating the list. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice so I wouldn’t let that concern you 👍🏻

The hardest part by far! Even when I had thought I had dealt with all those issues it’s a LOT different when the food is actually gone!

I wish I could take credit for it 😂 That one and “Fail to prepare - prepare to fail” are my mottos for this journey .

They are amazingly dense. I managed just one and I’m no pillar of will power 😂. But I totally agree. I can’t be trusted with jerky. One bag is supposed to be 3 servings? ***licking the inside of the empty bag***

PB2 Energy Balls (no bake). These turned out amazingly good and if omitted the chocolate chips could be sugar free. I usually like them courser chopped but these were leftover from making a pesto sauce with pistachios instead of pine nuts. I LOVE the dannon light and fit! I haven’t tried the toasted coconut yet but sounds delish 😋
