  1. Happy 46th Birthday txjoanne!

  2. Nov. 06 I had hiatal hernia surgery for severe reflux. Dr. Discovered stomach (and pouch) very slow emptying. I was banded 10/05. Severe heartburn (take Nexium with dinner so it lasts till morning). I sleep with the head of my bed up (I have an adjustable bed). I try not to eat after 6:00 PM. Tired of throwing up through my nose during the night. I sleep with a small bowl in the crook of my arm. Dr. doesn't think hernia is back- muscle is weak according to Dr. Is there a test to discover a hiatal hernia? Last time he scheduled surgery and found it that way. I work full time and can't take much more of this. It's 4AM and I'm up for the day. I'm exhausted emotionally and physically. Any advice would be great! Joanne:help:
