Hello! Needing some advice. Did you try to get pregnant after WLS and how long did it take when actually trying?

When i had my surgery i was on an 8 day diet before and they told me to stop drinking when i started that. My surgery was July 18th and my last night drinking was July 9th and was HAMMERED. Nothing bad happened. Good luck!☺️

Hey everyone! I will be 1 year post op July 18th and right now i'm kind of lost. I'm down 101 pounds so i'm very happy about that. 😊 I just need the motivation to exercise and be motivated. I feel like i'm at a stand still and my next goal is 30 more pounds. What gives you motivation to work out and just all around motivation? Also how much do you eat? My surgeon said i need to measure everything i eat still. I just serve a little bit and if i dont finish the food i throw it away..

Congrats! Ill be 1 year post op July 18th and im trying my hardest to hit small goals at a time but this whole year has taught me so much. I will never regret this surgery and i cant wait to see where im at in a few more months. 😁 -
Hello! After you had your surgery, how did people treat you differently?? Like family/friends/strangers?? I am super curious. Im 7 months post op and lost 83 pounds and i could tell a huge change in how strangers treat me its crazy!
-
Yeah its hella rough because i used to eat soooo much lol. Hang in there that weight is gonna fall off and youre gonna look great!

I drank alcohol 3 weeks after my surgery and felt like crap about it. Youll feel liike you messed up a lot of times during this journey you just have to accept the fact you did it, take responsibility, and move on. Thats what i have to do, im still very hard on myself with certain things but when i get back on track im good. ☺️

Yeah i get hit on all the time its crazy lol

If this helps, when i first had my sleeve done i threw up the broth because it was sooo gross to me. The 2nd week i tried eating soup (dont do) but it made me sick also but i was sooo hungry and i was so used to eating food that i was in shock on what i did to my body. My advice is eat sugar free popsicles and drink alot of liquids. Thats what helped me. I drained some soups though and drank the broth from those and that helped but i drank alot of water, tea, and like sugar free gatorades. Good luck!☺️

What's something you wish you had known before losing all the weight?
tal replied to BoredFatGirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I honestly personally will say this since ive gotten my surgery, going out to eat is hard as **** the first 3 months for me and still being 7 months out because literally everytime ive gone out to eat waitress/waitor will ask if i liked my food or not because i barely ate. It makes me mad haha be prepared for that ☺️ -
Hello all! I am almost 7 months and soooo frustrated. I am at a stall right now and yes im happy for the weight ive lost, i just feel frustrated that i am not down more i feel like i am not on track 😓 I also feel hungry every 2 hours. & yes i cant eat alot when i do eat or snack, but im sooo hungry. What are your suggestions for helping this? & what can get you out of these stalls they suuuuuck

Ill be honest i dont keep track. I just serve a little and if im too full ill throw it. I go for protein but i eat alot of cheese and turkey and sometimes ill snack on crackers or some stuff like that.

Hey everyone! I am currently 5 months post op and I am loving this new life. I get told everyday how good I'm looking and how I lost a lot of weight I just don't really see it I guess yet🤷♀️ I am however having issues with my vitamins and I'm lacking motivation hard with exercising! What vitamins can you keep down? Like I think my biggest thing are the MULTIVITAMINS. I get sick every time so I end up not taking my vitamins which is horrible and I don't want to do that. What gets you motivated to workout?? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Surgery weight-274 TOday weight-225 My issues I'm having still is not taking vitamins like I'm supposed to and drinking 64 oz of water. I'm starting to feel hungry now and even though I cant eat a lot I'm starving so I wonder if not drinking enough water is why. I made it my goal this week to start a plan to get start taking this more serious and not half ass anything.
-
It was hard to get my liquids in too its STILL hard to drink water and to drink shakes. I'm making a goal starting this week to get my vitamins in protein in because I have goals that I want to reach. I feel the same way its hard but there is support.

I had a stall for almost 4 weeks and im only 3 months post op and the scale moved down 5 lbs in ONE DAY. I was shocked and so happy! Dont lose hope like i did just keep going. 😊
