I was banded 9/4/2013, And got down to 280.   I couldnt maintain it, and it almost has all came back.
I decided on my VSG in August of 2018, and in  Sept of 2018 I got my band off.   I was getting ready for the sleeve. letting my tummy rest.  But insurance didnt want to cover VSG.   After two summits and reviews and denial letters, we sent a complaint to the State if Illinois.  They over turned the verdict and now; Im Scheduled for Jan.31st 2019 for VSG.    I have my EDG tomorrow ( 1/16/19)  .  Preop visit to surgeons office on the 18th of Jan.  then my Nutritionist appointment the 22 of January.
I can not wait to be on the losers bench again.   i am hoping all goes well, but im sure it will be.    I didnt the liquids and pureed and soft diet before, so i believe it should be a little easier knowing what to expect. Then again its a whole different ballgame From a Lapband to a VSG,
