Now that's one HOT lookin' Mama! Very COOL and a great look for you.

You and your daughter would have loved our consignment shoppes in Palm Beach! I frequented them often finding some amazing belts AND some couture outfits never worn still with tags. ;]

OH one is NEVER too young, old or cool for a pumpkin patch! What a gorgeous family, GT - you must be so proud. They are growing up so fast given past posts. Is that their beautiful big sister third from the left!? ;]

Ooch! I do hope the sweet potato recipe was worth it... Glad you are on the mend now. Hail to the nieces! These shoes are beyond ADORABLE!!! So happy. The pink and burgundy look so pretty with your ivory porcelain skin. I concur with ms.sss - fantastic pedicure, too. Yes, we are researching possible lots and neighborhoods to rebuild our former home with a new regional styling. Met with builder and architect last week - as I concentrate on the interior design - space, lighting, electrical planning. Will incorporate existing furnishings. Fun! Your guest room will be ready, hopefully summer of 2022... the same goes for ms.sss and greenteal. It's definitely time for the reunion robbed of us by covid twice! ;[ I'll take shoe pics this weekend. Oh BTW, the movers commented to my husband - she sure likes chairs and shoes doesn't she!? ;]

VERY COOL! Thanks for sharing. Know what you mean by a pleated skirt. I LOVE this linen skort but it is a b***h to iron... I do love your black and white skirt with black T shirt AND sandals to die for! Looking gorgeous, as always. Missed out on the finger thing - hope all is well? Just ordered a great pair of hip, off white winter flats for trip in October. I think you'd approve!

Hey fellow foodies! Back on the radar after a major move and settling into our new community. We are becoming acquainted with the area and enjoying some of the local cuisine. We are in a temporary rental home and not keen on the kitchen. Find it hard to get motivated to cook in it. Gas range, I liked electric. I really miss my island for prep and the bright happy sun drenched space. It's a bit dark and dreary in this kitchen. Dysfunctional layout, too... Any hooo, split the cobb salad with hubby Thursday. And, we shared pork chop dinner tonight. I ate ¼ of the meal. And, nibbled on this amazing banana pudding. -

Lunch out yesterday while running errands from The Leftovers Cafe in Jupiter. BQ grilled chicken, Brie (not a fan) with plantains (do love) - along with a side of their Mexican street corn. Ate about ¾ chicken, small slice of plantain and couple bites of coconut rice (yum) and corn. The rest went for hubs lunch today. -

Dave in Houston, you will regain your love for cooking and food again once you have lost the appropriate weight through each and all important phases needed for your long term success and well being. You will go through grief over some foods and portions you may have once loved, but may find no longer satisfying, digestible or best for your new health adventure. You might find great adventure and rewards in seeing food in a new light - experimenting and trying new recipes. I encourage you to continue on this thread going back to early on posts gaining invaluable information, encouragement and insight on others who have gone before you. I always loved salads before and after surgery but there were a few months salad was not the best choice at that time. 2 ½ years out salads are a staple and enjoyable as they once were but portions resized and evolving ingredients to keep things healthy and exciting! I do cook simpler now - but definitely not bland or unappealing. Some food types and drinks I simply did not re-introduce feeling them not to be the best choices for my nutritional needs and long term value. Congratulations on your journey and new adventure with food. Here is a sampling of new delectables I'm enjoying... -
A little flower power worn at lunch date with good friend today.

It's actually a smaller tomato and I carve out some of the center about ½ way using those pieces for a tossed salad later. Chicken salad is pretty good in it, too! Also, two halves of small tomato with melted cheddar, swiss, parma etc. in the broiler browned is yummy with slice of roast beef, chicken thigh, ham protein. BTW, hubby made you a mini strawberry rhubarb pie! ;] -

Instead of bread with tuna salad (use to love thickly sliced sandwiches made with various breads - sour dough, rye, Italian, Cuban etc.) I now substitute with tomatoes... I ate under ½ of portion here and will enjoy the rest of it for dinner. Consuming about 1 ½ cups of food at each meal after 2 ½ years post surgery. -
Ouoooo lala... Love this bikini! Smoking hot is right.

Absolutely, very wise to recover fully first. After our bodies have been through so much like BS and plastics over the last few years - I have not felt comfortable introducing a pre-qualified vaccine - experimental therapy just yet. I have never done well with flu shots understanding this is much more serious. I continue to research the latest information and glad you are doing the same. Hubby has had his shots. So kind and supportive of him to still wear his mask when we go out together... I know this is not an OOTD but a well dressed master bedroom - so cheerful and happy!

Yes, I thought Eric Bana very handsome and a good actor - we thought the movie was a bit weak... kind of drawn out - slow moving, plot convoluted. But we did enjoy The Dig on Netflix. I'm just waiting to see the latest Bond movie as we all could use a little frivolousness and escapist adventure right now! They continue to hold the release until a movie theatre premiere! Glad your region is still taking this virus seriously... We have a friend and her husband deathly sick with Covid caught from their 18 year old son and his girlfriend. The symptoms she (52) has described are violent as she battles at home while her husband (62) is hospitalized with plasma therapy. Families were warned here to remain vigilant especially if not vaccinated around younger adults. I still wear my mask in public settings like grocery store and remain distant from any large gatherings. Don't mind traveling or flying interacting mainly one on one socially. Please take good care and keep well but how discouraging to feel like going backwards in lockdown once again. Some states here like South Carolina were free as a bird as if there had never been a pandemic. I am somewhere in-between sensing 2021 - 22 to be transition years. Hopefully, by 2023 we will see celebration especially come May. ;]

Actually, it is a dress. Love it for our steamy summers - very breathable. This was my outfit yesterday at lunch with a friend. All cotton materials, too - my favorite fiber. Traveled on business most of June, and back to the task of selling our home with the anticipation of moving forward into a new chapter of life + adventure. Showings all day tomorrow. We relaxed today and watched an afternoon movie called The Dry. Thought about you. ;] https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/M5345198222
