That turkey sausage looks really good! Craved broccoli today - so, sautéed some with fresh garlic and olive oil. Made baked pork chops with diced tomatoes, onions + green pepper. Helps keep pork chops tender without salt brine method. Ate it all. Had a chia pear chocolate pudding for dessert. Hot tea with honey and milk for evening snack. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, ms.sss. What a beautiful festive dinner you made for the fam! They are a lucky bunch... Your turkey looks so tender. I'll have to try the instant pot for our Thanksgiving turkey! -

It really is easy! Just take green or red peppers core out centers. Make meatloaf mix - I use ground beef sirloin + chuck so not too dry. Add chopped onions, oatmeal, bread crumbs or rice, carrots, crushed garlic, black pepper, egg, Worcester sauce and fresh green parsley. I don't use a recipe - just throw in this and that. Top with Heinz chili sauce and bakes in an hour. Makes great leftovers. Mr. Sophie had the last stuffed pepper tonight. ;] -

I say treat yourself to those delicious onion rings... because it's been a hell of a year! ;] -
ms.sss - how about these??? For the May covid cabin trip - I was inspired by Arab to get a full cover swim suit (sun sensitive, baggy arms and legs) and, for the cool water lake + streams there. This was what I found. Certainly do not have that gorgeous, svelte linear figure (and, those 3 extra inches) as you - to pull it off! But it was famously functional... haha. Water shoes to boot.

Try to find something skin tight... You've worked too hard to look baggage claim couture! Haha.

SO CUTE!!!! Now you're talking like an interior designer! All the nuisances of light and color theory! Haha. Also, important stuff for you in professional photography. Love your jacket, though. And, it does take on differing hues like this lavender leather that goes gray, taupe and beige... Just call us the chameleons!

Salad lunch for today featuring cabbage slaw, dates, edamame, roasted turkey, green and red peppers with lemon olive oil dressing. This will last all weekend at ¼ servings each. Very fulfilling and satisfies that crunch! AND, my crunch to get a project deadline out. Yikes! No time for kitchen duty! Haha. -

Great minds think a like! We had convection bake roasted chicken thighs (marinated in fresh orange juice, olive oil, chili flakes) with corn + green beans tonight. Leftovers will be great for lunch salads. Agree. Simple and tasty. ;] -

So colorful and enticing! -
Extraordinary! Love both outfits and those SHOES...wow! So fluid and feminine. Looks as though spring has sprung? Cheers to kryptonite. I just added some grey to my closet, too, with soft cotton T and flats. BUT I truly admire your silver and pewter mules. ;] Flat style, I wonder? Wish my knees could tolerate a higher heel. ;[

Love the jacket! Pale pink? What a great retreat to the countryside... ;]

Just pan fried the pepper steak dish on electric stove top. Browned steak first with a splash of olive oil - Set meat aside. Turned up heat to sear peppers and onions in steak drippings. Added steak back for serving. I'm sure this would work on the Weber. We have that model, too. Here's a beefy BQ rib eye steak, chicken + pork chops we grilled this past summer. They turned out delicious providing ample servings thru the week. Kept the sides light with roasted green beans, strawberries and slivered almonds. Also great for leftovers. Early in Covid our thread was really craving hardy. Can't wait to see your Weber creations! ;] -
Just picked up my favorite favorite wool sweater from the tailor today who re-constructed it from a 3X to a small. This was the only garment I did not give away from top weight. They did a fabulous job - but thinking the crest pocket needs straightened? What do you think? Oh no, need new winter white flats to replace the size 8's that went with the sweater. Wear a size 7 now. 😕 BTW, don't mind the athletic wear underneath OR the BIG hair! Haha. Stylist poufs it out compensating for our sub-tropic humidity. By tomorrow... I'll look less like the Lennon sisters from the Lawrence Welk show! ;]

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! The outfit AND shoes. Looks like you might just pull off the shoes - if safe and comfortable(?) to walk in. Such a shame to discard such beauts! I think we both dropped an entire shoe size. Ugh.

Drop dead GORGEOUS! Our mysterious Bond girl strikes again. Soft and clingy... you wear it well. I adore you in red!

Was totally inspired by all the previous delicious pizza posts! Firehook brand crackers are my simple go to... And, tolerated well with their extra baked and crispy dynamic. Ate two strips + ¼ salad for dinner. These like the bagel ones with Swiss cheese and honey crisp apple slices are to DIE for! -

I find personally, Cotija cheese has a mild flavor and light airy texture. It is sprinkled here on my Mexican Street Corn - Salads, beans and other dishes where you do not wish for a pungent, overwhelming or heavy cheese. Definitely try it! I don't think you'll be disappointed. ms.sss may also have suggestions on how she uses it. And, I do believe Greentea can chime in on this, as well. ;] I also like it on poached pears - a nice contrast in flavors. -

Yay! My salad partner in crime. Tonight's dinner. I think you might have enjoyed this rather esoteric salad mix (felt adventurous) with white grape wheels, honey glazed walnuts, currants, mini cucumbers, sage baked turkey breast, hard boiled egg, Cotija cheese sprinkled with crispy onion garnish. Dressing is a creamy corn + ranch blend. -

Made mini meatloafs with ground chuck (more moist) oatmeal, carrots, shallots and garlic for little lettuce sandwiches thru the week. Tricolor Quinoa salad made with fresh mint slivers, white kidney beans, dates, tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic + shallots in light olive oil and wine vinegar. Really makes a nice high protein salad or side. Building up my protein intake for vein ablation this Thursday on left leg. Super foods for healing! Ate entire portion. ;]
