hi all hope everyone is recovering well form June surgeries .I am feeling good my first fill is 14th July i hve been on mushies tommorw is week 4 and i cant start solids apparantly havnt been sick from any mushies eaten so far which is great .Am starting to get my hunger back not a patch on what i would consume prior to surgery .good luck for th enext stage of our journey cant believe ive had th eband for 4 weeks i still got lots of bruises to show for it though

that would be great ah well i best go to sleep as tommorow i am off to the hospital i dont have to be there until 10am but will take an hour or so to get there best of luck heres to our new lives

hope everyone is doing well not long to go Friday 6th June cant wait am so over the pre op diet stage i have lost 5 kilos hope to drop another 1- kilos by Friday .Hope my liver is nice and tiny .Only 5 sleeps to go ,hope everyone is doing well look out new life here we come

i know how everyone is feeling day 11 of my pre op diet and i feel so tired as drained i cant wait only 7 days to go of opifast ,which is making me feel sick in the belly in more ways than one.Be glad when i dont have to see a shake or a bar for a very long time,keep strong everyone we will banded soon good luck to all

i am glad you doing well ,you are right nothing tastes as good as thin feels.Only 7 days for you that is great i have 9 cant wait.

how are you going on your protein shakes ,the optifast is horriblle.I can stonach the shake and bar i have my cup of salad or veggies ,can have clear broth anfd low fat jelly and nothing else it is getting very boring .Good luck for your surgery day

hi all I know the feeling started Optifast on the 19th has been 8 days feels like forever.Optifast is certainly not the nicest tasting thing its amazing how i look forward to my salad and cucumber an carrot at night .I must say that the first week is the hardest .Whoever said this was going to be the worst part i definlety agree.I have lost 3 kilos so far so am more than happy .Hope i can loose at least another 3 before the the 6th June Lap band day/Good luck to all on their pre op diets.

hi all dont worry you get used to it i am on day 5 tommorow of Optifast the only thing that tastes ok is the optifast bar the shakes and dessert i cant stomach but i try to get that shake down in the morning.I look at it that every kilo we loose now is a kilo we will never see again and just think how much easier the surgery and recovery will be so it is worth all the hunger pains ,i just keep telling myself this.Only 14 more days of optifast not that im counting.Take care and good luck everyone in their journey

eveyone was definatley correct about optifast .My first day of optifast over and its certainly an acquired taste only 17 days to go
