What Food Is Your Kryptonite?

Any meats make me sick, beef, pork, turkey. I was a big time meat eater before surgery, now the smell and the thought of eating any meats makes me want to hurl. -

I just posted about this, I’m in the same boat but it’s meat that makes me sick, the thought of having to eat it makes me want to vomit but, I know it’s a necessity for protein. -
Since I’ve had gastric bypass I hate meat, I hate the look of it the smell of it. I try to eat it for the protein because I’m not able to stomach protein shakes anyone. Has anyone else gone through this?

So your on the right path, i promise you it gets better.
-
I’ve experienced this but mine started about two weeks after surgery. It’s not unusual to have depression after surgery. I think you should talk to a professional about why you are feeling this way and medication if need be, hoping you’ll feel better soon.

Transitioning to soft foods

I actually had to restart everything again, 6 weeks into my Bariatric surgery they realized I had a build up of scar tissue and had to go back in and remove it starting everything over again. Now I’m at the soft food phase again. -

I’m so afraid of trying new foods that I’m eating just yogurt, mashed potatoes and pudding. -

Since having this surgery meat makes me sick, I can tolerate fish but only certain kinds of fish. -

Had my first experience 2 weeks post op, was in the shower got light headed and nauseas, then all of the sudden diarrhea with continuous shaking it was horrible especially because I don’t know what I had eaten to bring it on. -
Good luck on your surgery, you’ll be fine. Sending thoughts and prays from Staten Island, New York
