Hi SWStacey1977, How are the dvd's on the knees?? Right now my knees are sooo bad that I am a bit scared to do any of them?? Let me know, because someone at work said a friend of their's had one and they loved it?? thanks sls1974

Hi, I know how you feel. I am now at 251 the highest I have ever been, which is hard to deal with when all throughout my childhood and teen age years, most people thought I was anorexic (I was not!!) I went on my first plane ride in almost 20 years last April, when I took my son and nephew to Disney World. Thank goodness a nice couple gave up their seats so that we could all sit together since it was the kids 1st plane ride. It made is easier to sit, since they are so thin. (they were 7 &8) I wish you all of the luck, and since I am in a similar boat, just now doing research on banding, maybe we can exchange info that we find?? Best of luck sls1974

Hi All, I am new to this. I have been thinking about having the lap band procedure for a few years. But have just been more nervous than anything. Then my cousin had the surgery last April and she has lost about 50 pounds. It has given me more motivation. I am now just more sick of being overwieght and not being able to keep up with my son. I am a single mom, so to me it's everything, being able to keep up with him. Also I have been having terrible pain in my hips and both of my knees, which I know is due to the excess weight. (i'm 5'3 1/2 and 252 pounds) I really am at a point where I want to change my unhealthy lifestyle and I think the lap band will allow me to do this in a slower process than any other procedure out there? If anyone can give me some info. I would greatly appreciate it. I am from Rhode Island. Thanks:redface:
