    Wanted to switch up my breakfast by trying to eat a carb heavy breakfast instead and it didn’t go well 🤦🏻‍♀️ I made chia seed pudding out of the strawberry fairlife protein shake and topped it with 1 banana, 1kiwi, 1 peach, 5 black berries, 2 tbsp of blueberries, and 1 tbsp of almond granola. Everything was good and I enjoyed it but I was not full. I know it’s carbs but I would think after all that I would be somewhat full. I might try this again but with oatmeal and less fruit. Anyways, Avo toast with two eggs on zero carb bread was my dinner since I missed it so much.

    Went out to eat with the bf on Sunday. Ate a small bowl of miso soup, half of the beef negima app, and some of the chicken katsu bento box 🍱

    Thank you! And the pancakes are topped with hemp seeds, chia seeds, cacao nibs, almonds, low cal maple syrup, and berries. I microwave frozen mixed berries and mash them. Makes for a great sauce!

    Saturday’s food: Breakfast: Cappuccino but gave the whip to my bf. He enjoyed that lol Lunch/Dinner: Went out to eat Portuguese food with the bf and his family. Ordered the carne alentejana. It was EXTREMELY filling. Remembered the after pic. Today: Breakfast: Iced matcha latte Lunch: Avo toast with a pasteis de nata from a Portuguese bakery we picked up on Saturday Dinner: Homemade chicken soup with tons of veggies and egg 🥚

    This looks so good! It even looks like dough, amazing! I didn’t know it could work with shredded chicken breast. I’ve been wanting to try it ever since I saw a recipe video for it on Facebook. In the video they used ground chicken instead.

    All the food I had today. No leftovers. Trying to up my calories since I’m in a stall. I’ve been eating around 600-700 a day and my nut says it’s not enough. With my last stall she recommended I up my cals and add more carbs and to my surprise she was right. The idea of eating more just scares the crap out of me. Breakfast: Avo toast and an egg on the go. The bf and I had to be somewhere so he was driving while I was getting yolk all over my face. Lunch: 1 Oatmeal banana pancake with microwaved frozen berries and a sprinkle of cacao nibs, chia seeds, and hemp seeds. Also had 1 yellow peach and some cut up fruit. Dinner: Salad with chicken breast (romaine, spring mix, carrots, cucumber, tomatoes) Snack: I saved the banana in the pancake photo and decided to eat it with a tablespoon of pb2 Drinks: Iced matcha latte w/ almond milk

    Dinner last night, bf’s plate as usual. Made sirloin strips, rice, stewed chickpeas, and salad. I didn’t serve my own food because I wasn’t too hungry so I just picked off of his plate minus the rice.

    Thanks for the info! Is there interaction with the trainer? I heard the with beachbody you get assigned a trainer but I don't know much else about that. Also, did you find you were losing weight by working out this way instead of hitting the gym?

    Full day of eating: Late breakfast: avo toast on zero carb bread with an egg and sautéed mushrooms (finished it all) Lunch & Dinner: Sautéed onions and green peppers on top of salad with 4oz chicken breast, and Trader Joe’s zero guilt guac. (I split this meal in two) Snack: Iced matcha latte with 1 1/2 cups of almond milk and zero cal pineapple syrup. Total cals eaten: 690 Protein: 62g Net carbs: 25 g Fat: 32g Today was my second day seriously working out and I’m dead. It’s not much but then again it’s something. Did a walk on my lunch break and an hour workout at home. Burned everything I ate, but I’m not sure if that’s a good thing?

    Yesterday’s dinner was salmon and salad. Ate one piece of fish and the whole salad. The other piece will be for today’s dinner. Also has one piece of my bfs crunchy tuna roll.

    Hahahaha I'd love to!! Yessss omgggg I'm a sucker for a good steamed lobster, or any seafood really! Seafood is the one thing I can eat everyday and never get tired of. Your sister has some great restaurants near her! I'm currently in RI, close to the city so I'll usually venture out to Galilee for some fresh seafood. And that's great that you're now able to enjoy lobster without the butter! I also find it better that way You know, I've never had Johnny cakes before but I love cornbread so I imagine I'd like it!

    Gianelli's Hot Italian chicken sausage at Aldi. I'm not sure if every Aldi carries this but its good! When I use to have a hard time getting my protein in and needed something quick I would buy this. I'd would squeeze out the sausage from the casing, break it up/saute it, then scramble an egg in it. I've also tried their spinach and feta chicken sausages and I personally don't like them, but m aybe its just me. I know they're popular.

    Yesterday I ended up making a veggie broccoli crust pizza instead of a stir fry. The whole pizza was 569 cals and I ate two slices so about 70 cals a slice. If I used tomato sauce instead of Alfredo it would be much less.

    My odd meals from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I’m sure I’ll have something similar today. Ive been trying to use up everything in my fridge. Tuesday I made a stir fry with the leftover cabbage I had from the dumplings and Wednesday and Thursday I did something similar with onions, peppers, and tomatoes and just threw it on top of romaine. I’m able to finish everything minus the meat. I usually eat about 2 ounces of it. Pre surgery I always needed to eat/make these immaculate meals but I see food so much differently. Sometimes it just needs to be nutritious and do its job, nothing more. I’ve learned that not everyday there has to be this perfect meal, just something that fills you up. I also find my joy in cooking for others and that’s good enough for me too.

    I get these at my local grocery store but I think you can find them at walmart. If you're not a sweets person I think these banana bites are great to satisfy that small craving. My sweet tooth wakes up at night when Im about to go to bed so usually one bite will do the trick lol

    Right Rice anyone?

    So pre surgery I was a rice junkie! I ate rice every day with every meal, even breakfast so I get you wanting to find an alternative. I would try cauliflower rice and seasoning it up, maybe a caulirice stir fry just to trick your mind and taste buds. But I agree with @Arabesque and watch out for the swelling, especially being 1 month post op. I found it being easier cutting it out completely. Sometimes when I'm at a party or family get together Ill have a bite or two but no more than that. With time you'll grow to love your new eating habits and diet

    Im an Aldi-holic but I just recently started shopping at Trader Joes and I'm loving it. Not sure what took me so long when its only 25 minutes away from my house. Anyways, their guac is one of my favorite items. It's seriously addicting and you don't even taste the yogurt in it, and I hate yogurt.
