Well it's good you're doing your best to prepare yourself for this major life change. Just as I was informed by my surgeon, your tastebuds may do a complete 180° on you, and all those postops nourishments you stocked up on, may end up tasting like something you've never had before. So just don't overdo them, until after your surgery, you can try them out one at a time, and see which of them you can tolerate. Well, I think I know the difference between hunger and acid reflux. And besides the pain meds I was given, they gave me pepcid for heartburn, which I'm not having. I'm drinking a lot of premier protein meal replacement, but I'm still craving real foods.
