I just got a fill this morning and I can not keep even water down should i give it time or call the dr in the morning to ask he remove some saline he said he only added .5 and is very cqreful with his fills I really didn't have much restriction before....need help feeling very sick and major headache

Hi, I was banded on 05/08 and I have pain in my chest area when I eat...I also have pain, terrible pain when I hiccup it will thump abt 4 or 5 times like a spasm then go away it also feels like my whole insides are being rearranged. I asked my doctor and he kinda looked at me strange and asked if it was heart burn I told him No! His reply is that it will go away in time I sure hope he is right.... -
Hi everyone, How is everyone doing with pain...going bck to work... and eating? I was banded on 05/08/08 went for my 1 wk check up on Tuesday kinda early because I am thinking abt going back to work on Thursday. He said it was up to me and I am feeling pretty good. I have lost about 16 lbs since this has started in March...I was one of the lucky ones that did not have to wait for a long time to get approved. The only complaint I have is that when I hiccup it hurts like @&*! Has anyone experienced this pain? My doctor said it will go away...I have been kinda hungry trying to keep with the liquid and Soups but I am struggling as my stomach grouls... Would love to hear from you all!!! Michele :thumbup:

Hi everyone, I was banded on 05/08 and doing pretty good. How is everyone doing with the pain....eating...going back to work. Hi, I had my surgery Thursday too...How are you feeling I have tons of ?'s about what to do too. I didn't get much from info from the hospital just clear liquids for 2 weeks. Talked to dr. office yesterday and the only thing they said was i could try protein shake or v8 to see if i ccan tolerate it. I am having some pain in my throat and heaviness in my chest I hope that is normal... Keep me updated on your progress and Good Luck to you!

I am there with you! I am also schedule for 05/08 I went for pre-admission today and now all of a sudden I am scared...scared they are going to find something wrong with the bloodwork and postpone the surgery, for the first time my bllodpressure was off the charts...nurse said it was prob nervs and that it was normal to be scared. Hang in there it will be over and we will be loving the new us!!!!Good Luck Thursday

Thank You ALL for replying! This message board thing really is GREAT! My blood pressure for the first time in my life was off the hook today the nurse said it was probably just my nerves...Even My chest is killing me today when I breath in deep. I know I am making the right decision I can't wait to buy "cute clothes" again and just feel good abt myself!!! Again Thank you all for your support it means ALot to Me! Michele

OK, this is going to sound crazy!!! Today I did my my pre-admission blood work surgery scheduled for thursday 05/08 and now I am scared out of my mind. I have been so excited about getting this surgery done now that it is here I have butterflys, or I am just a big chicken! Any words of wisdom and experience would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! Thanks!
