I've slowing been going through my "skinnier clothes" that I've kept over the years (in case I lost weight of course!), and piling up the clothes I'm sizing out off on one side of my closet. I'm planning to sell the good items to a thrift shop, and the not-so-good ones are going into the donation bin. I don't want to keep them if only as a symbolic gesture that I will never need them ever again.

As for going through my skinny clothes, they are depleting and there are only size 6's left in my stash, which I can't fit into comfortably yet.

I haven't done any major shopping, just underwear and bras, and SOCKS.

However, I do plan on doing some serious shopping soon as I need some summer clothes and some new shoes (my feet have shrunk 1.5 sizes!)...kinda excited :)

Omg my shoe size has shrunk as well!! I went from a 8.5-9 to a 7-7.5!!!

Try it again ovet the weekend without the nuts or with less of them. Or plain (likely greek-no artificial sweeteners) yogurt with shredded/flaked/powdered coconut and other toppings. Perhaps even a pure coconut extract (like used for baking) mixed into yogurt but ive never tried this...

So I tried the coconut yogurt with raspberries (no pistachios). I was fine. Guess it’s the nuts. Weird. Maybe I’ll eat a hand full separately and see what my stomach does. It may be them.

I needed this page, I’m at ten months and I’m losing my mojo and have put on a few pounds when I still have plenty more to lose. Menopause is kicking my ass though. It’s like I’m in constant pms with the nutty cravings.
Glad you found this app! Welcome! Keep on keeping on!😊

It may be the sugar substitute used in the yogurt or the higher fat content of the nuts or the combination

    Sorry 💜

Ugh and I love the yogurt. I’ve been able to eat the strawberry light and Fit with berries in it and didn’t have gurgling and “other” issues lol
    Prob the nuts.
I have slowly weeded out artificial sweeteners from almost everything...exception so far is yogurt. Even w my coffee I use Truvia. It was def and adjustment.
What other yogurt could I eat. Seems like if you go low cal low fat it’s artificial sweetener. If you don’t think it’s full of sugar and fat.

  5. No regrets what’s so ever. I didn’t have any complications from surgery but if I had stayed the weight I was I would def have problems sooner or later. I’m def a healthier person now. I’ve lost 81 pounds now. You have to make the best choice you think for you. It’s not for everyone. Weight out your pros and cons. Good luck with whatever you decide. 😊

I am having my surgery done late today.

I am not proud to say that I did not follow my pre-op diet perfectly. In fact, I got so hungry that one day before when I am supposed to drink only Clear Liquids I ended up eating a meal. I just gave up. I have this feeling that nothing is going to help me anyways.

I have been trying to lose weight forever. Since I got pregnant it has been a never-ending battle and I always look at food to comfort, reward and Celebrate.

I had gastric balloon but barely lost 8 pounds on it. I have had Lipo twice on the abdomen. I just bounce back bigger and bigger.

Now I am to have this surgery tomorrow which I hope is safe considering my liver probably did not shrink much. Knowing myself, I am not sure if this operation will be worth it because I know I will try to eat the same way again.

So how did you change your relationship with food? How did you give up on it without being miserable? Is there any hope for me at all?

    How did the surgery go?🙋🏻‍♀️

My surgeon used dermabond to seal my wounds after surgery for nicer scars, but I thought it was going to fall off in a week or so and nothing.

Anyone else had to pick it off?

Let them fall off on their own

  8. There will be loose skin bc of how rapid the weight loss is. Start exercising and weight training as soon as you get cleared to. Also, lotion lotion lotion. Keep your skin moisturized. Other than that the rest is genetics...some people have great elasticity and others not. My skin is loose but I didn’t weight train right away...wish I did. I am now. I’m 44 as well. But ill take the loose skin over how big I got any day!!

    Update-

Getting an MRI sometime today; then the GI doctors are going to use that to determine which procedure to use tomorrow to clear the duct (all of which will be done with tube down my throat). Then depending on lab work, the surgery team will remove my gallbladder on Wed. Or Thursday at the latest.
Hoping for fast healing for you. Let us know any updates

Thank heavens you are sleeved so they can access your ducts through your throat. If you have a bypass you literally "can't get there from here"

Only way to get to her cystic and common bile duct is through surgery. They can’t access them through her throat.

I usually like them courser chopped but these were leftover from making a pesto sauce with pistachios instead of pine nuts. I LOVE the dannon light and fit! I haven’t tried the toasted coconut yet but sounds delish 😋

I’m going to pick up some tomorrow when I go grocery shopping for the week. I know I’m not likely to crush the pistachios myself so I wanted to see if I could buy them chopped. I’ll ck on that too on sunday😊

Dannon light and fit cherry yogurt, fresh blueberries and chopped pistachios. Well the pistachio’s are more like fine ground. Going to use them in a pesto sauce for some zuchini zoodles later. I’ll let you know how that turns out

Yum!! Do you chop up the pistachios or can you get them crushed?
I recently saw a new flavor Light and Fit yogurt. It’s called Toasted Cocunut. I need to find out the sugars on it first but I was thinking about getting g that flavor instead of my usual strawberry and adding pistachios to it!
