  1. Yum!! I love cinn rolls!! Would love the recipe!
  2. Yum that looks so good!!!! Unfortunately since my surgery I can’t eat salmon anymore which was my all time favorite fish!! Now it smells terrible and tastes terrible to me!! Wish that had happened to me with sweets and not the healthy fish I love.
  3. Good to know. I don’t like plain but I may be able to eat it with SF syrup. Never tried it but maybe. Or stick w my light and Fit strawberry. I love it. I add protien powder to it too.
  4. 🙏🏻🤞🏻 I will hope for the best for you!! Sounds like you are going strong with your progress!! Keep it up girl!! Someone gave me a bag of clothes and they were all clothes I could fit in!! It was an awesome feeling. One I’m not use to!!
  5. Plain just tastes so gross to me...I know it’s better for you but it’s just too bitter.
  6. Not sure what the total a day should be. Once I started reading the sugar on the labels I was blown away with how high sugar was on the “healthy” items.
  7. My NUTsaid to stay 5-6 grams and under of sugar. The only yogurt I found was Light and fit 80 calorie strawberry it’s 6grams of sugar.

    Onederland!

    Congrats!!🎉
  9. I didn’t take any pics but I tried the two eggs one banana pancake recipe!! Yum!!! I added a little baking powder for fluff, some vanilla protein powder and some vanilla extract -so good. Yes I drizzled syrup on it but also tried it with out and it’s so good without too!! Just wanted to put that out there. Still could only eat three bites (already at dinner a few hours ago)but it was good! Just wanted to try the recipe. Next time my kids eat pancakes I’ll make this for myself!😋🤪🤤
  10. I have been obese for about 10 years....now that I have lost 81 pounds..22 more to go to get to my goal...when I look st myself in pictures, I still see myself as not “thin”. I realized that this Valentines Day when my husband and I took some pictures before going out. My sisters all said that I look great etc but when I looked at the pics all I can see is that I still have big legs. Body dismorphia I don’t know but it’s very real feeling and view of how I see myself when I look at my pics. When I look at pre surgery pics I can see how much larger I was but for some reason it doesn’t translate when I look at the new pics I take.

    Pre-op diet working?

Just follow all the directions they give you. If you cheat or eat something you’re not suppose to then it won’t do what they need it to do. Remember this is the start of a life style change so commit to the plans they have for you so you can be successful long term. You can do it! It will get easier!!!
  12. You won’t cheat. You can’t bc if you do your liver won’t shrink like they need it to. They need it shrunk so they can better visualize your liver. Take this as a lesson in will power bc after the surgery this will be your new life...a birthday of sorts. You can do this. Follow all the rules so you can have the best outcome. Good luck and you can do it!! (My pre op was liquids only too so I know how hard was and is going to be for you) Focus on the prize girl...A new beginning. Best of luck and you can do this

    Heartburn..Heartburn??

Had my sleeve end of July 2018. Yes it got better for me. Never had heartburn before in my life (aside from my two pregnancies). It did go away after about 4mos. I just took Tums with me in my purse and that helped me. Hope it gets better for you like it did with me. Think of it this way...for me the heartburn made me really question every little thing I ate bc of the repercussions (heartburn)
  16. @Boldilocks let us know how you are doing once home. Hope all is well with you and your recovery and that your husband is supporting you.
  17. Can you share the recipe please...looks so good!!!!😋

    Struggling after surgery

I too struggle with a big sweet tooth. Best bet is to not buy candy/desserts...instead buy sugar free pudding or sugar free jello. Bc your pouch only fits so much a few spoon fulls should get your pouch satisfied and quench that sweet urge. Doesn’t mean that occasionally you can have a bite or two of a dessert but my suggestion would be to not have that stuff regularly or kept in your house where temptation can creep up on you. Keep strong and do the best you can do...everyday is a learning exp and trying to retrain your brain and bad habits. Bad habits have been the hardest for me as well...specifically sweets...skittles etc. I’m a work in progress too. I struggle daily too but I just try my best every day...sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fall down...but I get back up and tomorrow is a new day. Good luck and YOU CAN DO THIS!!😊👍🏻
