When were you sleeved?

I had my sleeve in July as well. I don’t have any dumping. Kinda wish I did so when I made poor food choices then I’d see the effects immediately and tend to not do that again. I actually put collagen in my coffee in the morning to try and keep me regular. I’ve actually had the opposite effect.

Can I ask why you don’t have your band removed here in the states since it was put in here?

I heard that we don’t or won’t absorb alcohol the same way after surgery. I haven’t had any since my surgery (7mos sho)but I’m not really a big drinker. Maybe check w your NUT on suggestions.

@libby leeb But that’s a great feeling though to have dropped in sizes like that!! @megan Sadler now Colorado is on my bucket list!! I want to go white water rafting there w my husband and my boys. Everything about Colorado is appealing!! I hear it’s expensive to live there though. We are just outside of Houston in Texas.

Yes me too. When I take pics I am excited to finally feel confident in the pics but then I look st the pic and all I see is that I still have big legs etc. I don’t see the insane amount of weight loss when I take a pic but when I look bk at pre surgery pics I do see it. Guess everyone is their own worse critic and clearly I am on myself. My brain needs to catch up with the changes in my body.

Oh I see. Well with the weight loss hopefully it becomes more of a fun thing as oppose to anxiety inducing. I get that too. I never liked shopping before bc I’d see myself in the mirror and also had to see the sizes I had to put on. Now I have to say it’s more fun. Hope you’re able to find some cute stuff!! I just bought a few things here and there as I lost weight bc I knew I was still losing. I have 22 pounds until I hit my goal weight.

That’s great news!!! Yes I know clothes are expensive so I was very appreciative of a friend who handed me down a bunch bc it was going to be a while before I could replace an entire waredrobe (I didn’t have ton of clothes before but when you don’t fit into any sure feels like you have nothing) Don’t get me wrong I am so happy to clear my entire closet and drawers out. Just stinks bc to replace everything takes time and 💰 money. Not sure if you mind second hand shops (resale) but I’ve found things there too. I love going to resale clothing shops. I’ve found some really cute items!! Just a suggestion😊

Dannon Light and Fit...I eat the strawberry one. Lower in sugar (6) and 80 calories. I add protein powder to it sometimes to add to the protein
