  1. I just had a ground turkey taco salad last night too! No kale for me either. I just used shredded lettuce, tomato avacado and cheese. So good!
  2. I live south of Houston. Had my sleeve done in July. My surgeon is Dr. Khoi Du with Surgical Specialist of Houston. He did an amazing job! Just wanted to put that out there for any future sleevers who are in this area and looking for a great surgeon.
  3. Did you end up getting the surgery and who did you use ?

    Clothes?

I have been getting a lot of my clothes second hand (resale shops or thrift)and am loving the smaller sizes!! When you have to clear out your entire closet and drawers buying second hand has helped a lot. Also I donated all my “big” clothes.
  5. Not sure where you live but I’m currently researching. It’s def a daunting process. Take your time and research research. That’s what I’m doing. If I have to take a year of research I will.
  6. Start researching. It’s a lot of work finding the right surgeon. Not all are created equal. I’m still researching mine. It’s daunting.

    Clothes?

How did you get your legs in that kind of shape. I’m what people call a pear shape. Gain in my lower half. You look amazing!
  8. I decided no donut lift. I called and told the office I want a regular lift. It raised the price $1000. 😳 but this surgery isn’t a surgery I’m wanting to go cheap on. Still shopping surgeons but I do like this particular one so far. Still more to see...more research to do...until then...
  9. Anyone had a donut hole mastapexy vs keyhole. Got a consultation done today. Anyone who has had either I’d like to hear how they came out.

Thank you. (If that message is for me😊)None of it is “easy”. Mental changing was the hardest part and I’m still a work in progress on that. I do weigh everyday in the morning. Keeps me in check. In July I’ll be two years out. No regrets what so ever. The first year is what some call the honey moon period. Use it to your advantage. Excersise as soon as you can. I did not do as much excersising as I could have and I think that if I had done that it would have helped the skin not be as loose. I do excersise but I wish looking back I had started as soon as I got the green light to do so. Good luck!! you will be successful!!!

    Daily Menus for Maintenance

For snacking in the middle of the night, you make pretty good choices. When I did that before surgery it would have been chocolate candy, cereal (sugar kind-fruit loops etc) Have you always had trouble sleeping?

    Post Op Bra Size

I’m naturally a B cup. With the extra 100 pounds I carried I was a D. Now down that weight I’m left w smaller than a B. My upper body, inc my girls were the first to go! I’m currently consulting with PS for a augmentation, lift and tummy tuck
  14. I use H-E-B store brand. Not expensive.
  15. Yes def doing a lot of consults and research. I don’t think the donut will satisfy me either. Also doing a tummy tuck

  17. Congrats on the weight loss! Ive lost 100. I’m at goal and have kept it off. Treat to myself is a little PS. Surgery was almost two years ago. The surgeon I consulted w suggested the donut hole for me. My breast look more deflated than saggy but def need some perk and fill. Thanks for the info. I’m trying to gauge who had what and if they were happy. This is my first go round w PS and I’m nervous.
  18. Anyone live in or around Houston area who had breast augmentation and/or breast lift done and happy with results?

    Daily Menus for Maintenance

Yes I think it will be a challenge for me and I’m sure for others. But I agree with y’all....you can’t become complacent and must stay on top of fluctuations. It’s def a mind game in my head. Fear of gain.

    Daily Menus for Maintenance

@Apple1-really messes w your mind huh?! Work our hard and see the scale go up is disheartening. I’ve been back to the gym now for 3 weeks and the scale hasn’t went down. My hub says it’s bc I’m building muscle. Maybe so. When I had my sleeve I lost a lot of muscle. So maybe I’m slowly building it back. Wish looking back that I had lost slower w keeping my muscle up as oppose to losing really fast and losing a lot of muscle. Anyways working at building it back but it sure is depressing to work hard at the gym and not see the reflection on the scale (I weigh every day). Helps me be accountable and catch fluctuations like I have now. Still in my window but at the top of window.
