Wow I’ve never poached salmon either. I hate the skin or any fishy taste. Salmon is my fav fish too. I usually bake it or grill it on a cedar plank. I may try poaching in milk or wine as @greentealael said!

Nothing exciting. Same ole same ole salad. Added spinach which is at the bottom. It’s the same ole but it’s my absolute fav! Lounging in my recliner w this (blanket the bowl is laying on) I have a cold 🤧 so I’m kinda nibbling at it.

My breast scars have healed really well! Can’t see incision around nipple hardly at all, the line down is a light pink. My TT is still much darker. Surprisingly it’s not lumpy like I thought it would be. My PS gave me a scar gel to use every day and then I also apply cocoa butter at the other end of the day. I used cocoa butter on my ankle scar when I broke it and it really helped flatten it and fade it. I would rub it back and forth w the cocoa butter so I’m doing the same w my TT incision. So far so good. I still say for me these scars dark or not are better than what was there pre PS

Hey! So I had PS back in Jan. I’ll be post sleeve 3 years in July. As far as pain I think it was only a few days that were the worst. Other than that I took Tylenol. Everyone’s threshold for pain is diff. Looking back could I have gone w just the Tylenol-maybe. No recreates what so ever. It’s def a journey and support helps. I found PS buddies on this website and I have found that super helpful. You really make a new friend while sharing the experience together and being able to bounce thoughts and questions off eachother. Keep us updated on what you decide to do😊

It’s no ones business and it’s everyone’s right to tell or not to tell. Yea it’s not necessarily lying anyways. Just word it in a way it isn’t. . Just simply say I changed my eating habits and am working out, thanks for noticing! Lol

Same! I can’t chug water at all. Sometimes I take two gulps and I’m like yikes slow down! Feels like my throat gets tight. Like a burp is in the way or something. So I just take it slow. Small sips

I love the premier protein shakes. I haven’t had the oat ones yet. Mainly bc they are more carbs and less protein. The blueberry is the one I’d try if I did though! I bought the strawberries and cream one today. My fav so far is the Cookies and Cream. It tastes like your drinking the milk of your Cookie Crisp cereal. So yummy. Having my first strawberry one tomorrow morning.

We went to dinner w all my family this past sat for Mother’s Day. My Mother’s Day dress w heels! I never wear heels!
