I had the sleeve and hiatal hernia repair. I’m 3 years post surgery and have been maintaining for at least two years. I am very happy with my results. I just started getting a little heartburn. Not sure if it’s from the sleeve or not. With that being said. If I knew 100% that I’d get heartburn then I would have done the bypass. All in all, I don’t get this every day and even when I do get it, 1 tums does the trick immediately. Talk to your surgeon about the difference and what would be a good fit for you. Everyone is different. I know so many people who have been successful with both sleeve and bypass.

Indont like pre salted nuts/seeds. They tend to over salt them. Our grocery store has bins of so many items that you can buy by the pound. I get the plain ones. They are good and I use them on a salad so unsalted is better for that for me. If they weren’t over salted I’d eat them straight up!

Pumpkin seeds are so good! I just started adding them to my salads too!

Omg that’s a great idea bc yes I end up tossing the left overs which is a lot by the end of the week or I send it over to my mom. No one else likes it. They like “regular” crust.

That’s awesome!! I wear scrubs at work too and they are colored according to size! I’m in a XS (yellow for us!) and man it’s a long shot away from the XL (tan) that I use to wear. I remember seeing others in yellow and thinking I wish I was and NOW I AM!! I still can’t believe it. Way to go Kristie!!

Ok if y’all don’t have an H‑E‑B grocery store then I wish y’all did. It has amazing store brand items. Their cauliflower crust pepperoni pizza-I added mushrooms. I ❤️mushrooms!! This is so good. I’m not a huge pizza person but when we do pizzas I don’t eat the ones the rest of my fam does so I get this for myself. So good!! Plus in a paper plate-NO DISHES AFTERWARDS! Win win!!

Yup. If I eat too fast. It comes on like a train and I feel like I’m going to barf. Seems to happen more when I get to talking a lot at a meal and forget to eat slow. Still have to concentrate even almost 3 years out.
