Those all sounds sooooooooooooooooo good to me, I just had the sleeve on 5/13/2019 and I am on liquids... Follow up appointment on 5/23/2019 so then I hope to have eggs... That's all I'm thinking about right now is eggs... But, hey I'll take it... -
It is awful but it will pass, 2 or 3 days of pain for a lifetime of losing weight!!! Sign me up I’ll take it!!!! Good luck to you

Much appreciated, I think I just forgot what had just transpired the day b4.. But, all good now and I will continue to sip not gulp -
Surgery was on 5/13/2019 and came home yesterday from the hospital. Dr. said everything went well and no issues at all.. As soon as I came home I drank a big gulp of G2 not thinking of the ramifications of gulping. We'll I know the ramification now, straight to the sink and it is not very delightful to throw up with 85% of your stomach gone. So I got it now. Overall, feeling good but still some pain and still have some gas to get out. Popsicles, Premier Protein, Broth, G2 (slowly), and jello for the next 10days til I see my surgeon on 5/23/2019 to hopefully move on to Phase 2. But, let me tell you guy something, this ain't no joke pain wise when u wake up in recovery and you first night in the hospital. So don't think this is a joke and u will be running marathons any time soon. Just give yourself sometime to heal, that's what I am doing... Best of luck guys and if you have any questions let me know....

Popsicles, jello, crystal light and broth will be your best friend. Also, do cream of chicken. That's what I am living on this week for my preop diet.. Surgery 5/13... Hang in there once you get going you will be fine... Just don't watch to much TV during this time due to every 2 seconds of the fast food commercials... Good luck and hang in there....

Strained Broth and soup for pre op diet
jaytissle55 replied to kymbrlym's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You don't have to strain broth, if you are eating cream of chicken soups they should be strained so that you don't eat any chunks of meat.. I don't strain my cream of chicken I just take out the couple little pieces of meat. Good luck to you. -
Congrats!!! Stay strong and keep us posted... Good luck...

Join a gym and get a personal trainer to help u to get started, if you feel froggy look at some videos on youtube and how to do them, just go light and get familiar with your gym.... Just use very light weights in the beginning and watch others. But, I vote for a personal trainer for about a month to show you the basics... Good luck
