How is water going for people?
LaNueva_Janie replied to jultrim18's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 5 months post op-Water is an issue for me now and for most..before surgery i could drink 1 liter of water from 8am-1pm and 1 liter from 2pm -5pm with no problem. Now i cant handle plain water and i dont know why??? Is it in my head??... I buy crystal light Rasberry green tea drink mix packets that are for 16oz water bottle but i pour it on 32oz water bottle its the only way [emoji57] ill take it. Some times i will finish 2 bottles of 32oz a day. Sometimes 1 and 1/2. Working on it. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app -

Thanks! Wow! I watch Dr Duc Voung on youtube and on the classes he mentions After what they call the "Honeymoon" stage they say is harder to maintain and we have to be very strict with our meals. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

On my surgery day i was 270 lbs. Now 230 lbs so ive lost 40 lbs in 4 months. I started the WLS program in Jan.2018 at 298 lbs. Started to diet, smaller portions healthier choices as i learned from my Nut classes and started loosing weight. Lost 28 lbs before surgery but alot had to do with the preop liquid diet. Now with a total of 68 lbs lost. I Use my treadmill daily and a mini stepper w/monitor at home + meal restrictions. I follow my Nut meal restriction calendar and have had no complications at all.[emoji4] Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

No. I tasted the peaches more. It really was ice cream to me. Thing is since ur taste buds change. At this point it is such a treat. I still eat that when i have the craving. If the peach is not sweet u can try adding just a lil splenda. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app -

Mine was Creamy Mashed Cauliflower.. taste just like mashed potatoes. I googled a good bariatric recipe. Loved it! Also blended cottage cheese with frozen peaches. Yes! Loved that 2! Felt like i was cheating my diet..so good. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app -
