Thank you! Just left the appointment. The December 26th date continues to stick providing my endoscopy for tomorrow turns out well and that I can get a sleep study done before surgery. Hang in there. 8 pounds is awesome! I'm still pre-op and 8 pounds is not easy to lose, remember when? Just keep following with the program as best you can. 80% is better than 0. Your tool is still with you. Deep breathing and use diversions when you find yourself focusing on the negatives. We're always going to have negatives in our lives. Pre-op, it was food as our coping tool. Now we must turn to things like hobbies, meditation, going for walks, etc., to soothe ourselves in times of stress. I'm routing for you! I have to use a cane when first starting my day until my legs feel strong enough. There is even constant pain when in bed at night. I know we experience more aches and pains as we age, but I'm wondering if a lot of my pain will go away with the weight loss. What was your pain experience before and after? So sorry for you temporary set- back. They want the very best for you, that's why they've cancelled and need a little longer to be sure you'll come through the surgery well. Hang in there. We live at an awesome time. You'll be snipped. I just know it! 🙂

Just saying hello. Just joined today and my surgery date is December 26th! Anyone out there having surgery between Christmas and New Years?
