    February 2019 weight loss buds

Thank you so much. I try not to let myself get frustrated and discouraged, but was already having a rough day when I posted. I am feeling much better since then. Sent from my SM-N975U using BariatricPal mobile app

    February 2019 weight loss buds

Ugh.. so was really happy last week. I can visually see a huge difference, but feel frustrated this week. So I am back at the gym after gallbladder surgery and today I am up 5 lbs from last week. I haven't changed anything except working out, and I have only gone twice this week. Just needed to vent. I am posting my before and current pictures because I still have a ways to go, but need to remind myself how far I have come! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

No, they checked my gallbladder prior to surgery and everything was great so they left it in. The surgeon said if was due to me losing weight fast. I am getting better everyday, but the pain is worse than the gastric sleeve surgery..lol Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

    February 2019 weight loss buds

Hey everyone, I posted recently, but am always keeping track of the conversation and topics. So I kinda hit a stall and was discouraged, and on top off that I found out I had gallstones. Didn't even make it the scheduled MD appointmentto discuss treatment. I ended up in ER this weekend and had to have gallbladder surgically removed. Has anyone else had the gallbladder removed, and if so how was it afterwards? Could that have caused my 3 week stall prior? I am still tracking food and exercise, and based on that I should be losing weight. I try not to focus on that to much, but it is hard. Well I did just have a NSV, I was able to wear XLG scrubs..[emoji4] Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

    February 2019 weight loss buds

Hey Everyone! I haven't posted in a while. Once a day for the last 2 days now, I have experienced severe pain right at the bottom of my sternum and last for about 15 minutes. It is a horrible pain, that nothing seems to relieve. I am about 2.5 months out and didn't do anything differently. Has anyone experienced this before.? Any suggestions. I see the Surgeon on Monday for my next follow up. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. Ugh..I told myself I wouldnt let myself get discouraged, it is so hard. I am just about one month post op gastric sleeve. I am still on the puree diet and eating no more than 1/2 cup per meal , six times a day per my MD and NUT, but the scale doesn't want to go down. Little info on myself 5 9, HW 325, SW 310, CW 290. I lost 15 pounds the first week, since then I have only lost 5 pounds, with only 0.5 lbs this last week. I do believe I went down a size in pants, but why wont the scale go down! Sleeve or Bypass?

I went with the sleeve, since I do not have GERD. I also have spoken with many individuals about their choices. Yes the bypass has overall longer success rate and you lose faster, but if you are committed to changing yout habits you can be successful eighth either. I was personally nervous because I know a few people who had issues due to not being able to the vitamins following bypass surgery and ended up with seizures. I know that is rare, but to me I didnt want to risk it. No matter what surgery you choose, it is just a tool to help you achieve your goals. Goodluck! February 2019 Sleevers?

I am about 10 days out, feeling pretty good, able to tolerate fluids and protein. The only thing is I still have pain in right side. The doctor at post op visit said the one stitch is probably pulling and causing the pain. Anyone else experience this? Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. I had my surgery on 2/7/19. I am currently still on clear liquid diet. I set an alarm on my phone, that will repeat every 15 minutes continuously as long as I hit snooze and not dismiss. As for the amount, I bought some medicines cups that are 1 ounce (30ml) and every 15 minutes when my phone alarmed I would drink one. That way I would be getting my 4 oz in an hour. February 2019 Sleevers?

The pain is actually a few inches below and to the right of the biggest incision. I also have had multiple abdominal surgery's and this pain is the worst. Just going to take one day at a time until it is resolved. I have my postop appt on friday, so I will talk to MD then. Thanks Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
