I had it 2 years before issues started. I loved my band and wish it didn’t move. I had removal and sleeve on Nov 14. If I was t so active in lifting it probably wouldn’t of moved. Shame great tool.

I had my removed when I had this surgery done last week. I did amazing on the band lost 100 pounds kept 40 of it off, but the band moved and was vomiting etc so they let out all the fills and I started gaining slowly. It did help me a lot with portion control that is for sure. I had the choice fix band or sleeve so I chose sleeve as I do vigorous lifting and it would just move again don’t want constant surgeries

November 2018 Sleevers!?!?
Happy Sleever replied to Sealeafi's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
How is everyone doing that had surgery last week? I’m feeling pretty good today. Have all my water and food cups set up for the day with my timers set. Sept 279.5, Nov 7 255, (surgery nov 14) nov 19 236.00. I’m elated. I’m hoping for new year 199 but might be asking for to much there lol. Hope everyone is coping well -
Yeah umm has everything to do with being fat. People look away from you. Like past you. When people haven’t experience being obese not just overweight it’s s totally different ball game. Like when waiter comes to the table and barely make eye contact when you order but with your trim parents they do. It’s unreal. I’ve been up and down all my life with weight loss and there is def a difference hot obese people are treated. In shale people just don’t get it’s not calories in work out so be it. They don’t get it at all. It took decades until my family finally understood what I had been going too. Eh screw anyone who doesn’t get us. Now it’s our time to thrive! (; good luck to all of you!

3 days post op and fizzy stomach
Happy Sleever replied to lulu06's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Wow! You described EXACTLY the feeling I had running down my throat etc to the tee! I was concerned I had a leak so I’ve been taking temp regularly. If your techs cardia you might want to get check ASAP. Call your doctor and tell him tachy and check you temp. The only difference is I can sip fine and goes down but I feel every inch of it. Today is day 4 for me and I don’t feel it as much. Our stomachs are healing so we will feel and hear unusual obsure things going on. It was a relief to see someone had this same description. But seriously thinks to watch for are tachy and fever. I’m down 20 pounds I’m in awe and so excited!! Hopefully tomorrow it will be less noticeable swallowing as it did for me. Good luck to you! -
Not full and very hungry
Happy Sleever replied to :::fluffy:::'s topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Hello. I had mine past Wednesday the 14 Th. I’ve started from the time I woke up drinking propel and chicken broth every 15 mins. after four hours of that I get very full. Protein shakes I’m totally turned off to as well. On Day 3 my doctor wanted me on strained soups and Fag yogurt. Omg the Fag Greek yogurt with scoop protein powder a bit soy milk mix all up put in two oz Dixie cups and sip one every 15. mins. The thought of protein shakes anymore makes me nauseas. Light cream of chicken soup with 4 eggs blended well and cooked on sauce pan then put into two inch Dixie cups. Taste like egg drop soup lol. And in between all this I drink 48 oz a day. So basically from 9 in the Morning until evening every 15 mins food or water I’m intaking. Good luck. -

Welcome!! Good luck with your approval! I just had mine done Nov 14 and already pleased. Minimal pain, no nausea, so far so good! I got the two ounce cups from dollar tree so it’s easier to make it thru the day without thinking!!
