  1. Happy 39th Birthday shardin!

  2. Happy 38th Birthday shardin!

  3. I feel the same as you! I have never PB'd either; I can eat almost anything and I have a 9cc band with 7cc's in it. I've had 3 adjustments and not losing weight!
  4. I got my band in on May 7th, I feel great but and I do eat almost anything. I do feel a little bit of restriction when I eat too fast but I'm so ready for my adjustment. I have lost weight but I believe its only a little bit. I am afraid to go on the scale so I'll just wait until I go to the doctor's office. Once I get banded, I'll get a good scale and stick to making healthy choices! I go on the 30th and am so ready! I'm a little weary on the needle and the adjustment just because I don't know what to expect. I'm glad to read that you're doing great! Keep up the good work!
  5. honestly, I'm afraid to get on the scales. I was so excited after the surgery because MY ANKLES were back to normal! Now that I'm back to work, I don't feel as good and my swelling has started again a little in my legs. I think I've lost but am afraid to look. Today is a week after surgery and I feel almost back to normal. I have had such problems losing weight in the past I'm hesitant to look. I've told my husband that I'm going to wait until my 6 week doctor's appointment.
  6. Did the fill hurt? I'm worried about the needle. Can you feel your port underneath the skin? Does the doctor "hit" the port on the first time or does it take a few attempts? I'm worried that this is going to hurt.
  7. Hello, my name is Sarah. I'm 34 years old and had surgery on May 7th. I'm back at work but having issues with sitting for a while (it hurts where my port is). Other than that I'm doing fine. I have moved on to the mushy foods and doing fine with it. I'm glad this site is here so I don't have to bother my doctor all of the time; there's some great stuff on here. Thanks for all the comments! I'm learning what to expect and what isn't normal!
  8. Why is lemon your best friend? How does that help?
