I'm pretty sure silicone trays can go in the oven (up to a certain temp), just not the lid of course. ...and both can likely go in the microwave?

Me Too! And same as you, I hadn't been in the office in about 8-9 months (was at a client site) and when I went to a team lunch after losing 120 lbs, my boss didn't even bat an eyelash. The others at the table tried to follow his lead, but their eyes were visibly bugged out. My boss was cool as a cucumber, and just said, when I walked up to the table, "So good to see you! It's been a while." ❤️ ...and for the the first time in many, many months, I had a nice meal without anyone talking about me, my weight, what was I eating, etc. etc . It was just lunch. And it was nice.

@sillykitty I know you didn't post your actual backside, but got some hits of some bootylicious-ness in those hips lady 😍 @Arabesque love the little foot raise, lol...also is your hair naturally "bendy"? I spend way too much time trying to get that little hair bend look at the tips, and when I do, it lasts like 2 hours. Sigh. @GreenTealael I don't remember seeing this jacket before, I like! @BayougirlMrsS your boobs ARE getting bigger! are you sure your surgeon didn't just move your stomach to your chest???? @kristieshannon oh my. what can I say. Rawr. I can think of lots of scenarios where you can wear that and light the room on fire, aside from the obvious dinners, nights out, etc...I say it's also appropriate for watching TV, mowing the lawn, walking the dog, going to the dentist.....

True, if the OP can get over the bothersome thoughts and be at peace, then that would be ideal....but if this is going to fester, all she would be doing is postponing a potentially even bigger argument later. Depends on if/when you want to deal. Edited to add: sorry OP, don't mean to discuss you as a third person ❤️

My suggestion would be to have a chat with your husband. It doesn't have to be an argument. Just a conversation. ❤️

Ok, are you sitting down??? So for the first time in over 2.5 years, I actually ate (wheat-based) pasta! And I didn't implode! LOL. I know this doesn't look so very appetizing, but I'm pretty proud of my efforts, so I'm posting it anyway, so there! Mushroom Ravioli with Parmesan Cream sauce! I served myself 3, and ate 1. The fam fought a little bit about who would eat my other two (spoiler alert: Mr. won): approximating 100 calories for 1 (with 1 tbsp of the sauce) Honestly, I don't know how the Nonnas do this regularly. From gathering all the ingredients to serving them on a platter, the time elapsed was SIX EFFING HOURS for 40 effing raviolis (but I was having fun throughout, so its all good). And it took them less than 15 minutes to eat it all. I sort wished they took longer to eat it, geez. I'm pooped. -

With time, you will figure out what works and what doesn't work for you. I can say that don't be scared, but this lesson is best learned with time and experience. ❤️ P.S. I'm 2.5+ years out and I'm still learning stuff! -

Yummmer! I will imagine eating it and be satisfied. P.S. I too like to use up every last scrap of leftovers/food. It makes me sad when I throw out perfectly good food into the compost bin. It's difficult to do though living with these people who have an aversion to the concept of leftovers! But i like the challenge of re-purposing "old" stuff into something new (also, I don't tell them that's it leftovers, Mwah-hahahhaha) -

Mine where crispy/crunchy all the way through. The kid did say though that they were a little on the "airy" side, but I attribute that to me over-beating the mixture prior to baking (i made the rookie mistake of leaving the kitchen and got distracted). Humidity may also play a factor? Further to icing sugar vs. granulated sugar, like @lizonaplane alluded to, the texture/volume of the two kinds differ so 1 cup of icing sugar is not the same as 1 cup of granulated (1 cup granulated == 1.75 cup of icing, so yeah, its way sweeter if you do a direct substitute). I may have to give myself a project and compare the diffs between icing vs granulated Swerve.... P.S. Unrelated, but another thing I do is to use weight for measurement when baking (well, except for liquids, where I use volume). I always have this URL in tab in my browser to look up conversions: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/learn/ingredient-weight-chart. -
How much are you eating?

We have the same starting weight and almost the same height (you are 1" taller than me). Assuming all else is the same (which we all know is NOT) for curiosity's sake only, I looked up what I was eating at 2.5 weeks. For the 5 days immediately following the 2.5 week mark, it looks like I my menu consisted of protein shakes, eggs and cottage cheese. I totally didn't want to do any pureed foods cuz my one attempt to puree beef icked me out. According to what I put in, the sizes of my "meals" where either 1/3 a scrambled egg (made with milk) or 1/4 cup of cottage cheese. 2 tablespoons is 1/8 a cup, which was probably the size of my fractional egg meals? It took me for-e-vah to eat these though. Are you still hungry after 1/8 cup? If so, I would think that so long as you aren't experiencing any discomfort, it *should* be ok to have more. (but I'm not an expert on your body!!!) I've read many accounts of others who have eaten way more and were fine, as well as accounts of others who have eaten the same (or less), and were not.... -

Swerve Icing Sugar. I transferred my stash into a jar, but here is a pic of the packaging: Its marked up higher than granulated Erythritol, but I read I could make my own just by processing the granulated version so will likely do that when this batch runs out. P.S. I generally only use Erythritol, stevia or Monk Fruit sweeteners, depending on the application. -

@BigSue ! Looky what I made! Inspired by your batch, of course. I totally forgot about them after i turned off the oven and accidentally left them sitting in there overnight. They are a little browner than I would like but the fam already scarfed 1/2 off them down for breakfast...and they didn’t even notice they were sugar-free (shhhh...don’t tell them!) I didn’t have any myself as I normally ask the Kid if I would like something I haven’t tried before, and she said I wouldn’t like these cuz they were pretty sweet (i like sweet, but not too sweet...and i trust her judgment, she knows what I like lol) -
I didn't heed my nutritionist either on most things, not so much on goal weights (which she had none), but just food/lifestyle choices. I am finding that there are alot of nutritionists that go by a set manual and prescribe the same advice to everyone they deal with with little to no customization (i mean, your experience is just another example of this). I hope that folks do their own research and make decisions on their own observations based on THEMSELVES (along with taking their team's advice into consideration) vs. accepting all that is told to them by a single source. Clarification: I an not endorsing non-compliance to your surgical team. Merely a suggestion to educate yourselves as much as you are able, or can stand.
-
whoa. You must have been feeling twilight-zone-y when you reached goal! Are you used to it yet? I have no idea how much I weighed at 10 years old but it was probably less than 60lbs. I wonder what that would like on me now. Probably not very good!

That is a very specific prediction! Most will find that predictions are just that: guesses based on statistics. So many factors are in play that aren't considered in these predictions, so I wouldn't put too much weight on it. Only way to know for sure is to go through it. P.S. I may not be the standard, but I weight less today than I did when I graduated high school (but more than when I started high school)

Also, I think my fridge is a little bigger than a standard sized fridge? We too have medication in ours, you just can't see it in the pic, lolololzzz. Third: Like @GreenTealael said above, we REALLLLLLLY like food. 😂. This is probably the most active/longest running thread on here. Fourth: Welcome to the forum! ❤️ -

I know you said a lot more substantial stuff in your post, but me being me, I zoomed in on this fact, lol. And so::: what the??!?! You are allowed to bring opened bottles of wine home from a restaurant?!?! If this was allowed here, there would be way less people staggering home after a night out. Lolololzzzzz.

As is often the case, I get all giddy at the thought of prepping a salad, make it, log the components in MFP, only to decide afterwards that, meh, I don't feel like eating it. Said salad: 366 calories. So I put it in the fridge to save for later, and while I'm in there (and since I don't have a salad "after" pic at this time), decided to take a pic of its contents for all my Fridge Porn Homies who may be needing a fix. Enjoy! -

You know, I've never had Matzah. Is it delicious? Though I suspect anything with bananas and maple syrup is delicious....
