Ah, we can be dress twins! I like the fit up top on the longer dress! The shorter dress is fun and cute, the longer one shhhhhexxxy. 😍 ...and that watermelon drink looks sooooooo good.

If only i didn't cut it so many times, it would have been past my boobs by now! *sigh* I actually went in to get a root perm...to fluff up the top of my head due to the the perm I had in the early summer growing out already. You can see how flat the hair is up top vs the bottom in the before pic on the left. It was pretty funny looking when I first got it though...think 80's metal band lololololzzzzz. Hecks, ya! Sometimes I'll wrap the top leg behind the bottom leg, just cuz I can. When I was bigger, if I ever managed to cross my legs, my top leg would like stick out at a 90 degree angle!
  7. Middle eastern. Marinated roasted sliced meat on a spit typically served in a pita with various veggies and sauces, depending on region. YUM!

    Scar camouflage tattoos

I hear ya. All my scars pretty much suck, but the arm ones and my side boob ones from the breast lift can’t always be covered by clothes. I looked into tattoo scar camouflage a while back but my scars are much darker than my skin AND are not smooth, and I was told this type of procedure is more effective on white, flat scars 😭😭😭 So i’m just getting a for real tattoo strategically placed on the worst side boob scar. Am gonna wait out the arm scars for now and just hope they get better. But do keep us updated, would love to see some good after pics…even if its on someone else’s arm!
  9. Woot woot!!! Lookin’ great! 👍🏼
  10. Anybody else find that when you are out and about, that u forget to eat??? Came home about an hour ago from a whole day of errands (and some pampering, lol) and realized i was starving. 1/4 of a chicken shawarma in a pita plus an espresso martini beforehand (not shown): 260 calories. Ate it all!

  14. I also used protein powders with water added (bonus being u can just add more water to make it less sweet/thick…though i suppose u could do that with the ready made ones as well…) i tried out a whole bunch of them and finally settled on Isopure’s dutch chocolate flavoured powder. It was by far the least sweet (with the exception of the unflavoured of course) that I tried. I added a tsp of decaf instant coffee crystals, 2 tsps of Benefibre, a bunch of ice and water. Ta-da!

Soooo back when I was bigger I would have NEVER worn a dress like this cuz I felt it did nothing for my shape other than advertise me as a circus tent of sorts. I usually wear more fitted clothes since getting smaller, cuz, well, i can, and I like to show off my bod, lol. But i am super pleased to be able to wear this today and not feel like a tent, ha! P.S. yes, its hard to see in this pic due to lightning and my dirty mirror, but trust me, its super-cute 😉

  18. My first post-op AI vacay was at around 10 months post op (I was already in maintenance though). I did eat too much (or too fast?) the first day and did barf a couple times as a result, and that was enough to keep me vigilant for the rest of the trip. I ate just veggies and protein 90% of the time. My carbs/sugars came from the crazy delicious cookies at the coffee bar, and single bites (for taste, lol) of other’s desserts, and mangoes the size of my head (yum!) I did still track all my food intake, but it was all guessing so…highly inaccurate….i’ll see if i can pull up my food logs from that time…? Didn’t have any of the sugary mixed drinks, but did have wine, vodka sodas and tequila shots. Lots of it, i confess. Went to the gym to run on the treadmill for an hour every morning, or joined in the resort’s organized morning road run for 5K (twice i did a 10k with them, the first time ever at that point to ever do that distance, EVER!) I came home basically the same weight as i left. I was 119.8 the morning i left, came back 10 days later at 119.9 Now….compare this to a 2 week NON-AI trip i took a month later, and i came back 5lbs heavier (I didn’t nearly do as much exercise that time around, didn’t track a thing, and i ate bread, lol). But it was all good, i went back to tracking once home, back to running routine and lost that gain in about a week. so i guess the lesson I learned here was that i stay on track when i track my food intake to be aware of my cal counts and make decisions on food accordingly. 3 years post op now, with many vacays under my belt since, im still tracking everything and im still basically the same weight (116.4 this morning)
  19. Oh, and here was dinner tonight (which i had AFTER the cookies, lol). Made loaded nachos for the fam, and i basically just ate toppings (i.e., passed on the chips): Clockwise from top: BBQ beef brisket, tomatoes, queso salsa, sour cream, cole slaw, and seasoned ground beef: 299 calories for the plate as shown. Ate it all.
  20. Yummmmmmmm!!! I call your 8 pumpkin cupcakes and raise you 33 amaretti cookies! Bakers unite! P.S. each one is 105 calories. i ate 2 of ‘em!
  21. ..,and AFTER a pee and/or poop of course! 😂😂😂😂😂
  22. In the beginning i ate (or tried at least) to eat according to volume. I pre-measured everything and ate what I could from that amount using timed bites. If I ate to restriction, then it would be too late as I found that my signals were delayed and I would just be super uncomfortable. As time went on, I was able to gauge when was enough an didn't need to rely on pre-measured volume anymore. It's a learning process. Listen to your body, learn from your past experiences with food and eating and hopefully you will get the hang of it all in no time. P.S. for further clarification, I was pre-measuring for about 5-6 months then the training wheels came off and I became a pro (sort of, lol) Good Luck! ❤️
