Really Cool New "Smart" BMI Calculator

Well that was an interesting calculator, thanks for the link. Here's me, based on 5'2" and this morning's weight of 115.1 lbs... (Its been said directly and indirectly to me that my weight is too low. This used to give me pause but these days I am ok with my weight and how I look. There are times I think I am getting too small, but I know - or am counting on - the fact that I will bounce back up a few pounds eventually. My weight loss has slowed down quite a bit since that first worrisome month in maintenance. I figure the weight loss will come to an ultimate stop soon as I get better and better at eating "regular" food.) BMI = 21 Health aspects = you are "normalweight". SBMI = 32/70 Weight stability = Your weight level is best if it remains stable. Weight management? = This is no issue for you, luckily. Nutrition = Your current low-carb diet Your weight is below average: Do you really need this diet?

    Keto vs. No Keto

I'm a dressing person too The more vinegretty, the better. Here is my go-to vinegrette recipe that I make in batches of and keep in fridge. It is based on the recipe from this link (https://www.thespruceeats.com/low-calorie-asian-salad-dressing-2238967) , but with my own substitutions to make it lower-cal: Serving: 1 tablespoon (7 cals, 1 NET carb) 1/2 cup vegetable broth 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons bragg's liquid soy seasoning 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1 teaspoon stevia 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1/2 teaspoon ginger (ground) 1 lime (juice) (sometimes I'll add come chopped up jalapeΓ±o for some kick, or up the vinegar content a bit)

    "I think you're overdoing it"

If it's any consolation, it seems to get better as time goes by. Either everyone gets used to it (and stops making comments) or you do (and the comments are only a minor, minor annoyance or even better, don't even bother you at all). The number of comments I get to my face (and behind my back through comments made to Mr. or the Kid) have greatly reduced. I still get the odd one here or there, but for the most part, the shock of my weight loss has basically worn off.

    "I think you're overdoing it"

You are doing approx 4-4.5 hours of dedicated exercise a week. I don't think that is an amount to be worried about overdoing. That is what everyone should be doing minimally, really. There are folks on here that do way more than that. Maybe those that are on your back don't get off the couch much themselves, and just see what you are doing as too much comparatively. It's all relative. So long as your head is in the "right" place, and your exercise routine(s) aren't negatively interfering with other aspects of your life, then go for it, lady.

    Time to eat

I'm one of those really slow eaters. I'm 9 months out and I take about an hour to eat a "regular" meal (I have become used to eating cold food!). It takes so long because I wait about 5-10 mins between 3-5 bites. If I don't take my time, I run the risk of overeating and then get that uncomfortable/painful chest-pressure feeling or worse, get barfy. P.S. back in my early post op days it was taking me 90 minutes to eat even less.
  11. Yesterday's Menu - July 29th: 5'2" ♀️ 9m PO (in maintenance) 1: salad w/ 2 slices bacon + 1 scrambled egg + tuna (350 cals) 2: protein shake w/ instant coffee (120 cals) 3: salad w/ 1.75 oz grilled chicken + 1.25 oz duck breast w/ orange sauce (157 cals) 4: chicken broth drink + 5oz chicharron (408 cals) Totals: 1035 cals, 118g protein, 18g NET carbs, 95g fat I realized I was way too low on calories by the end of the day, so I decided to go to town on a bag of chicharron as an evening snack, lol.

sorry, missed this question... it actually belongs/belonged to my daughter (she let me have it because its to "bright" for her, lol). If I remember correctly, it bought it for her from walmart a couple years ago, so I doubt they still carry it. (...and it's like a child size M/L...)

    ❀JULY 2019 CHALLENGE❀

Days 30 Sleek Arms Challenge (LAST DAY FOR THIS ONE!): done. Toned Arms Challenge: today's quota done + all caught up with the other 3 sets/days I deferred to today. #OUCHmyARMS Chill: our view while chillin' by the rooftop pool at one of the hotels we stayed at a couple days ago... ❀JULY 2019 CHALLENGE❀

I do this, which probably isn't good thing. I end up doubling (or tripling) my efforts the next day(s) if I miss getting in some exercise on a given day. I hate playing catchup so I try my best not to miss a day, though sometimes if I know I'm going to miss a workout/run/whatever, I'll put in extra the day(s) before. Reading this over just now makes me think I may be going a little overboard. Hmmmm...need to give this some thought....

    ❀JULY 2019 CHALLENGE❀

Days 25-29 Sleek Arms Challenge: 5 days worth of this challenge catch-up done!!! Toned Arms Challenge: Only 2 missed days/sets worth of this challenge done, um, those 95 total up and downs in the Sleek Arms Challenge killed me. ❌ Toned Arms Challenge: I'm going to defer 3 sets/days of these to tomorrow (or later today?). My arms are done at the moment. BTW, am pretty proud of myself as for the first time ever, I USED THE HOTEL GYM TO WORK OUT during a vacation. Pre-wls, hotel gyms were basically my source for a quick bottle of water, or cold towel, lol.

    ❀JULY 2019 CHALLENGE❀

Honestly, I love salads with a verrrrry vineagrette-y dressing. Sashimi, grilled steaks and cashews are up there too 😜
  19. Regular exercise makes/made a huge difference. I have also noticed that exercise on an empty stomach (i.e., getting a run in or some class or some strength training before the first meal of the day) was very effective on the weight loss front...well, with me at least
  20. I'm one of these people hahahaha. I'm 9 months out (sleeve though, not bypass) and I will down a protein shake if I find I am low on my protein quota at the end of the day. I also always have a packet of protein powder (and beef jerky!) in my purse just in case I end up needing to eat something and there is nothing appropriate around to consume)

Wish I took more pictures on our road trip...this is all I got: 1st pic: what I wore to dinner last night, 2nd pic: what me and the Kid are wearing today (I realize now I seem to have a penchant for see-through shirts...why do I not notice the visibility of my bra when I'm getting dressed???)
  22. Nah, my carbs were on the relative high side (well, for me at least). I was between 75-100g each of the days. But I figured I was on vacation, so I threw caution to the wind (though I still stayed away from bread/rice/pasta/potatoes, I'm not that wild after all, lol)
