  10. Ya, I'm a vinaigrette kinda gal (but I do love blue cheese dip! maybe not as salad dressing though) I have increased the sesame oil and olive oil ratio in my recipe but I still make it with stevia or monk fruit for sweetener...
  11. Haha, I have the kettle corn popcorner in my pantry right now The kid loves it. Too many carbs for my liking though, and the comparative percentage of fat and protein is too low. The Flex line is promising, due of the protein content, at least....will see if I can find that locally and report back!
  12. Sometimes I do end up having 6 "meals" a day, but man, its work. Even 4-5 is effort. Unfortunately, not a big fan of protein candy bars (and that Robert Irvine line looks like it has a lot of saturated fats...although who am I kidding? I am a pork-rind-a-holic). I bought a big bag of avocados from Costco today, and also a bag each of of roasted black pepper & red pepper cashews from my fave Indian take-out place this afternoon, so I've got some good high fat/high calorie snacks on hand . I need to make sure I always have more appropriate snacks around so that I don't end up eating the crap around the house. Now, why do I keep crap in the house, you ask? Well, I'm not the only person who lives here, and they like their crap.
  13. Yeah, "crap" being the operative word. I started the day off pretty well, but it was downhill from afternoon snacks...not the healthiest choices, and I paid for it. Now the thing is I KNOW I will feel crappy when I eat crap. Yet I still try to put some in me for the sake of calories, cuz its a real effort to get the same amount of calories & fat with healthier food.
  14. 5'2", ♀️10m PO, maintaining 114.8 lbs Had a couple gal pals drop by after lunch yesterday afternoon and I set out a little spread of snacks along with the coffee to serve 'em. Too bad I partook a little too much in the snacks cuz I had another dumping episode and had a painful poop then had to lay down and nap for a few hours. That's THREE dumpings in the past 7 days! Geez. Menu for Yesterday, Wed Aug 28: Totals: 2185 cals - 115g protein - 130g NET carbs - 125g fat 9:00am (4 cals) 2 black coffees + Stevia 11:30pm (291 cals) salad greens + jalapeΓ±o + vinaigrette pan fried sirloin steak in butter roasted vegetables 1:30pm (403 cals) cottage cheese + blueberries + pumpkin seeds + black pepper salad greens + vinaigrette pan fried sirloin steak in butter 1 dark chocolate square 4:30pm (740 cals) 10 wheat thins w/ peppercorn pΓ’tΓ© 1Β½ cups Chicago mix popcorn 2 Peek Freans Fruit Creme Biscuits 200g chocolate peanut butter Protein Frozen Dessert (i.e., fake ice cream) 1 dark chocolate square 11:45pm (748 cals) Β½ cup clam chowder 100g sweet potato & paneer curry 25g beef jerky cottage cheese + blueberries + pumpkin seeds + black pepper 2 dark chocolate squares Yesterday's Exercise: 3k run 15 min strength training (arms)

What a Difference a Poop Makes!

πŸ‘οΈβ€οΈπŸ’© ...just feeling the urge to poop makes me excited.
  16. hmmm...I'll need to go back and check if I took my B12 close to my tests...if I did, that would probably explain some since my pills are 2500mg each. Nurse suggested I get the 500mg ones for easier distribution, but I hate to waste the bottle that I have. πŸ€”
  17. 5'2", ♀️10m PO, maintaining 115.0 lbs Yesterday, Tues Aug 27: Another no-energy day yesterday. Slept in until 11:30am, which is unheard of for me. Also had another marathon nap which resulted in not eating too much due to limited waking hours...had to down a protein shake made with full fat milk and WHIPPING CREAM in an attempt for some calories and fat. I thought I was coming down with something, but I woke up this morning feeling pretty refreshed and manged to go for a run...a short 3k one, but a run nonetheless. Yesterday's Menu: Totals: 712 cals - 57g protein - 22g NET carbs - 44g fat 12:30pm (4 cals) 1 black coffee w/ Stevia 2:30pm (6 cals) 1 cup chicken broth 6:00pm (331 cals) salad greens w/ homemade vinaigrette 100g grilled sirloin steak 8:30pm (371 cals) 1 scoop Isopure Dutch Chocolate protein powder 2 tsp decaf instant coffee Β½ cup 3.25% whole milk ΒΌ cup 35% whipping cream 1ΒΎ cup water Yesterday's Exercise: NONE.
  18. Dunno...but the nurse (and google) tell me high B12 levels is not that common. Apparently prolonged B12 increased levels is not a good thing, which is why they keep checking. I've been high since 3 months post op, and still am as of last month, but the levels have been decreasing, so that's a good thing, i guess. I went from taking my 2500 B12 every 5 days to every 4 weeks....am wondering if I should just get off of them altogether.
  19. Ha! Now I have to add psyllium husks to the grocery list. ?? Now is the "manufacturer", right? this is not a typo? Hahaha, no judgement here. Pork rinds/chicharron are my secret weapon/go to snack to add a ton of protein and fat (and basically no carbs) when I'm in a pinch for calories (and they are also good for "breading" stuff)

    October 2018 Sleevers

Reached the 10 month post op mark four days ago. I've been in maintenance for about 3 months now, having decided to stop losing weight back in the end of May. Still trying to find my "sweet spot" in terms of calorie intake and exercise. It's basically been trial and error, but I think I'm getting close 🀞🏼 Regardless, I feel awesome and am almost used to the new bod. I'm still sometimes taken aback when I see my reflection, or when I fit into clothes that look microscopic to me. Anyhoo, here is a pic from a couple weeks ago (I'm wearing a bikini bottom for effs sakes! haven't worn one of those in decades). And for fun, some BEFORE pics (these were taken last summer, about 3 months before surgery)
