During weight loss phase I didn't eat any fruit, save for one time early on that I ate like 2 tsp of my mom's fruit salad and had a serious dumping episode. Once in maintenance, blueberries are my go-to fruit. I will also have other berries, and I may have a 1/4 of an apple or like 5-10 grapes in my salads sometimes as well. Very rarely anything else.

^^ This. Even if its just around your kitchen, get up and do it every hour, without fail. It may hurt and you may not want to, but do it anyway. You should be seeing your doc soon for a follow-up, yes? Make sure to bring it up with them. ❤️

Can you get CBD oil? No sugar, and depending on what the manufacturer uses as base oil, calories would range from 5-20 calories per dropperful. I have a peppermint CBD oil spray, which I've used sporadically for relaxation/sleep and more recently for post-plastics pain management, and it does not make me stoned, nor hungry, nor sick to my stomach. Edited to add: Also, I would stay away from smoking in the early days as it hampers healing. Though ideally, just stay away from smoking at all ❤️

I had ass pain from sitting in the early months as well. If you can stand it, do some squats and other butt exercises to put some padding back on. It may take a while, but I think it works. I started doing them semi-regulary starting Feb 2019, and then full-on-regularly since Aug 2019. I no longer have sitting-ass pain (and while my butt still looks pan-cakey, its less so than before, LOL). P.S. I HATE squats, but I do them anyway.

... I want that held-together feeling back that my steri-stips gave me too!!! Man, so much conflicting information. I wish there was a standard everyone can agree on . K, new decision: I'm going to wait until the weekend, and if I'm still scabby & pink AND the achiness hasn't gone away, then I'm going to try the silicone sheets for 2 days and see if that makes me feel better... -
LOL, i've recently discovered Jordan's Skinny Girl line of sugar-free flavoured syrups that I put in my coffee or tea or cup of almond milk #yummie.

Well, duh. Why didn't I think of that? That is an excellent idea.

Other than the vinaigrette I make, I have yet to find a good line myself! But I have this one in my fridge right now (I tossed the yucky Walden Farms blue cheese one). Its not bad, Mr & the Kid like it, just not vinegary enough for me personally (30 cals per tablespoon). Kraft has a whole line of "Calorie-Wise" dressings, but I haven't tried any of the other ones yet... -

...and I think I went UP two sizes!!!! The swelling in my abdomen & upper thighs is driving me nuts. My pre-op pants are still semi-uncomfortablly tight, and I really don't want to go into the basement to pull up some heavier-me pants just on principle. -
I've always liked the idea of these, but have yet to find a brand that isn't too sweet or too bland. What brand do you have?

Hey! Those ARE cute! Maybe get another pair NOT to ruin, lol.

Second, Today's first meal of the day: salad + tomato & onion tuna + 1 tbsp mayo (since the SF blue cheese dressing was a big FAIL) 223 cals - 17g protein - 8g NET carbs - 14g fat Plan on eating it all... -

First, a PSA: I do NOT recommend this dressing. 🤮 It does not taste like blue cheese AT ALL #pass #realStuffWaaaaayBetter -
A Tale of Two Arm Lifts (rs & ms.sss)

Ok, I changed my mind about using the silicone tape right now. I did a bit of reading (both online and the literature in the box of silicone sheets) and decided it's still a little early for me to put them on my incisions. I've still got sections that are scabbed over or freshly un-scabbed (very light pink skin that looks like it needs to heal a bit more) so am going to wait unitl I see my surgeon again at my in 2 wks, or when my scabs & pink skin are gone, whichever come first. On another note, after my shower, I decided to do my hair for like the first time since surgery, meaning I put product in it, blow dried it and used a flat iron (for the past 3+ weeks I've just been air drying and brushing to the side). And surprise, surprise, my arms felt loose and un-achy. So today's lesson is that I need to raise my arms more and not baby them like I've been doing so much lately and I will feel better 🙄 And on another, another note, I went for a 5.5km walk this morning and thought I would try to run the last kilometre. Wasn't the best run as I was wearing winter boots and they aren't very bendy, and I was being light-footed because it was icy (so it felt more like dancing than running, lol), but I was glad to be able to run even just a little and get my heart pumping. Also I really like running with the abdominal binder on, makes my core feel strong.... -

? Did I miss a back picture?? -
wth? lolololzzz. p.s. you may want to learn how to tailor your clothes (or hire someone who does, lol). women with your assets and tiny waist will always have issues with off the rack clothing! Your too big clothing (in areas) is hiding way too much of your wicked bod.

Frustrated with "I know someone who gained it all back" reactions
ms.sss replied to Basham53's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Over the holidays, I saw relatives who haven't seen me since the summer. I got "Oh look, you are still skinny." or "Good for you for not gaining weight again", and them offering me some cake. These are the gossipy aunts and cousins who I generally put invisible armour on whenever I'm around them. You know, the types who shoot out poison arrows disguised as innocent remarks. They've been doing this to everyone about everything for as long as I can remember. They don't even know about my surgery, but I know they are just waiting for me to gain the weight back. Insecure people feel better about themselves when they compare themselves to others, do their mental math and determine they measure out on top. And if their math tells them they are NOT on top, they will do/say/think what they can to make it so (or at the very least, justify it). I figure they need do this to get through the day, so whatevs. Let them do what they need to do to get by. I know I'm awesome. -

@Miss Lis : If you want, you can post your stats as well as what you typically eat/drink (like EVERYTHING you put in your mouth in a day) and I'm sure alot of folks on here would be happy to help you troubleshoot ❤️

I was on full-on lazy mode and totally binge watched "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" this weekend.
LOL. 2 seasons in less than 2 days.
