Here's my pitch: ....$419 from Newark, or $214 from LaGuardia (and these are in Canadian dollars, so like they are practically giving them away) ....AND, while @november11 & @GreenTealael may be closer, AND I probably eat more than both of them combined: Pot. Is. Legal. Here. *drops mic*

I noticed that gap months ago...is that bad? LOL

@AngieBear : YOUR. BUTT. You need to walk in backwards into every room. @november11 : Your outfits are amazing (and abundant!) How big is your closet exactly??? (I particularly like the matching sherpa vest & boots 😍) @Cheeseburgh : I've missed your sailor chic looks...glad to see you back (Also, are you still working out, cuz your shoulders are looking FINE under that top...) @VIKING 0424 : looks like you are doing just fine without the help of a personal shopper! I think you need to invest in a full length mirror so we can see it ALL (k, that sounded off, but you know what I mean ) @shanza : our resident legit supermodel is back...I can't tell you how jealous I am of your height and impossibly long legs. @Sophie7713 : I heart Bobby. I heart the new windbreaker. I heart you. @Mom_of_Chaos : I guess I have to wait in line for those sneaks. @KaysMommy : You pull off the "girly dresses" like the best of them. It's funny, when @Sophie7713 did that virtual shopping for us a while back, every time I see a romantic-ish dress, I ALWAYS think of you. For reals. @Sheribear68 : wow. you need to step out of workout gear more often! @sillykitty : Shwing! (This is a test. I suspect only those born BEFORE the 80's should get this...LOLOLOLzzz) --------------------------------------------- I'm soooo sorry if I missed anyone, but I only went back 6 pages. SIX. PAGES. Aside: I wonder if there is a limit to the number of posts a single thread can contain...cuz if so, this one will definitely reach it.

OK. There are so many fab looking people on here, its getting difficult to comment on every single one! But I couldn't let this one go... @JakeH , this is SERIOUSLY a good look for you. If you are ever in Toronto, I have a very cute niece who happens to be single at the moment...

I'm 1 year, 4 months out from sleeve, and with the exception of sugar in large quantities (I'll dump), I can tolerate everything. But it doesn't mean that I eat everything. -

Food Before and After Photos

If/when the chest fullness goes away depends on what I'm eating. If I eat the denser stuff (proteins) it takes longer, maybe10-20 mins (sometimes much longer, if at all). I can eat lots of salad if that is all I eat. Salad fullness (or other slider-ish things) goes away in like 5-10 mins IF there is no other stuff like carrots/nuts/cheese etc.. That wooden bowl is pretty big. I just measured, its 9" in diameter & 3.5 inches deep. So like 15 cups, give or take a few cups if filled to brim? -
Yesterday Tuesday, Feb 25 Maintenance : 5'2" / 1.33 yrs PO Sleeve / 113.9 lbs ---------------------------------------- Dinner and drinks out with Mr & pals...I didn't order anything for myself (other than drinks)...and just had bites of everyone's food. After tasting menus, this is my preferred way of eating out (especially when my meal companions let me have input on what they order! LOL) P.S. Didn't have to resist the lemon curd tart because SOMEONE ate it all 😡, but I got Mr. to order a lemon cheesecake at dinner, so it's all good ---------------------------------------- 10:00pm - coffee w/ cream! 2:00pm - Salad greens w/ vinaigrette + carrots + pickled beets + 3 oz roast pork + 1 tbsp crunchy garlic chili oil + the insides of the Kid's half eaten curry chicken wrap (1.5 oz grilled chicken, mayo, celery, spices, cheddar cheese) 7:00pm to 11:30pm - 2 tbsp salmon ceviche 1 grilled shrimp + 1/2 a paris toast cracker w/ spicy butter sauce 1/4 cup spring mix salad w/ olive oil 1 oz skirt steak w/ chimmichurri sauce 1 oz lobster tail w/ butter 1/4 fingerling potato 2 tbsp roasted veggie & romano flatbread 2 fl oz tangy lemon cheesecake w/ 2 tbsp whipped cream + 2 blueberries + 1 raspberry 1 vodka caesar w/ pickled green bean 1.5 glasses red wine 1 americano (black) --------------------------------------- Totals: 1335 cals - 73g Protein - 85g NET carbs - 56g fat ---------------------------------------

Ha! If only my salads looked 1/2 as good as yours! LOL, Ok, so at the 20 min mark, I was taking a break, and I guess I was full, in the sense that I knew that if I took another bite at that time I would likely have hurled. BUT I wait for that full feeling to go away and if/when it does, AND if I want more, I'll eat more. I probably could have stopped and put the food away right there and been fine to eat again in a couple hours, but I wanted more, so I kept eating. I don't know if I "chew a ton", I stopped counting chews a looooooong time ago. I think I naturally just don't wolf down stuff because I've been conditioned (i.e., the aforementioned hurling). Finally, I have to be honest, I probably should not have eaten all that I did because I can feel a slightly tighter than comfortable feeling in my chest. I think I had the "look-ma-I-cleared-my-plate" attitude when I was anticipating taking an After picture. I probably should have stopped at 3/4 done... -

K, so when @GreenTealael mentioned her eating window to be 20-30 mins, I wanted to see what I could get in in 20 minutes. So here is today's first meal (and it's progress...) Salad greens w/ vinaigrette + carrots + pickled beets + 3 oz roast pork + 1 tbsp crunchy garlic chili oil + the insides of the Kid's half eaten curry chicken wrap (1.5 oz grilled chicken, mayo, celery, spices, cheddar cheese) 271 cals - 31g protein - 15g NET carbs - 13g fat Ate it all (eventually), except for the big chunk of cheese that I found unappetizing... -

Seriously, keeping up with this thread is like part-time job! (love it). @Sophie7713 : HBD mother Smith! I was in love with the "art deco" cuffed shirt, but I think I'm gonna have to break up with it because that asymmetrical side tie one is THE ONE for me. 😍 *shoves @BayougirlMrsS to the side* @GreenTealael : can you model the socks WITH the dress??? @KaysMommy : even in "normal work clothes" you still look FAB. P.S. Daughter is a cutie 😍 @kristieshannon : Pretty dress, looks great on you! Your waist looks flat and trim!! Hope you got to convince hubby to take you out. Or you could wear it out with some pals! Or you could wear it around the house and just feel gorgeous all day long @JakeH : Sock game!!! P.S. You will NOT be single for very long looking like that.. @november11 : Um, that POV shot is...interesting. LOLOLOLzzz. Though it does give an excellent view of those boots that I am making a plan on stealing from you at this very moment.. @sillykitty :

Yesterday Monday, Feb 24 Maintenance : 5'2" / 1.33 yrs PO Sleeve / 113.5 lbs ---------------------------------------- My mom brought over a fave dessert of the Kid's yesterday afternoon (which happens to also be one of my pre-op faves). Tried to resist, but I succumbed by dinnertime. Sooooo worth it. There is still about 1/3 of it left in the fridge and I can hear it calling my name...it's likely to end up im my stomach by 3pm...5pm tops. Also had a killer headache yesterday. I didn't have a single cup of coffee. Coincidence? ---------------------------------------- 10:00pm - 1/4 cup cashew milk w/ hot water 1:30pm - salad greens w/ vinaigrette + carrots + cucumber + 3 oz avocado + 1/2 cup canned corn + 3 oz roast pork 4:00pm - salad greens w/ vinaigrette + carrots + cucumber + 3 oz avocado + 2oz cashews + 1 slice bacon + 2.4 oz grilled chicken 8:00pm - salad greens w/ vinaigrette + carrots + cucumber + 1 fl oz pumpkin seeds + 3 oz pan fried salmon + 1/2 tbsp olive oil 9:00pm - 3oz lemon curd tart + 1 fl oz honey roasted peanuts --------------------------------------- Totals: 1808 cals - 104g Protein - 89g NET carbs - 112g fat --------------------------------------- The fave dessert in question: Lemon Curd Tart w/ a shortbread crust..thats 1 fl oz of honey roasted peanuts beside it...

Well, as Mr. is oft to say: A $25 pair of shoes that you wear a couple times is a bigger waste of money than an $800 pair of loafers that you wear for years and years.

I just do about 15 mins of arm exercises in front of the TV every day or so: little arm circles (back & forward) large arm circles (back & forward) clasped hand pumps (put your hands together like you are praying and make your elbows touch, raise arms together up and down triep dips (knees bent OR straight out) push ups upward dog presses (like pushups, except your pelvis and legs stay glued to the floor) shoulder lifts I started doing them 4 months post op almost every day and I can totally see the difference in my muscle tone (I'm 1 yr 4 mnths out now). Mind you I still had a curtain of skin hanging off of them (no amount of exercise will get rid of excess skin). You can see how they looked before my arm lift in the Albums section of my profie.
