Right? Lol The one with the thickest, greenest soy-wasabi sauce is the winner. -

I just noticed that your wasabi packets were untouched?! What is sushi/sashimi without wasabi?!?! -
So went to try to exchange my baggage claim suit for a smaller size, but there were none left 😢. So I got these 2 pairs of jeans (same style, just different rinses), plus this cropped polo shirt for the same price as the returned jumpsuit + another $4. Triple Score! I heart end-of-season sales.

Brunch with The Kid: Had I eaten the entire thing as shown, it would've logged in as xx734 caloriesxx **Correction: (forgot to add the bacon): 934 calories for the entire thing. Estimated calories based on what I actually ate (i.e., the entire salad, 1 egg & 3/4 of a sausage, 1 tsp maple syrup (not shown)) : 200 calories (took the rest home and it was promptly devoured by Mr.). -
The panniculectomy portion of my procedures (Breast Lift, Arm Lift, Tummy Tuck) was covered by insurance, as was the hospital stay and all meds, the rest was covered by my bank account.

I’ll be 2 years post-op at the end of this month. 😎 (time flies!) I got to goal at 7 months, but i lost a few more lbs over the next few months after that trying to figure out the whole maintenance thing. But I’ve basically been my current weight (give or take 5 lbs) for well over a year. As for the whole calorie counting/tracking, its not for everyone, but I’m anal like that so keeping records and data and taking measurements and making graphs and all that sort of stuff speaks to me...I probably even enjoy it a little (ok, maybe alot!). I’ve been called obsessive/fanatical/crazy, but whatevs...its actually fun for me, AND I look great in jeans, lol -

Afternoon snack: strawberry yogurt cup with 1/2 fl oz of pumpkin seeds: 142 calories Plus, (not shown) 1/2 an almond biscotti: 55 calories -
Me too! My extra battery power actually started about 4-5 days into my 2 week pre-op diet and it's still around at almost 2 years post-op. I actually sleep longer/more soundly now though. I sleep about 6 hours straight uninterrupted on average, and am fully awake and energized throughout the day. I used to sleep maybe 1-2 hours at at time over an 8 hour period, and would be often be tired during the day and would need a nap sometimes. Quite annoying. To the OP, as GT said above, a B12 of Vit D deficiency can contribute to low energy levels. Have you had your labs done recently?

hmmm....methinks you got some nice, fine looking legs hiding under those jeans...i can tell!

@Nermada, oh, I also meant to say something to you way back when I read you post and my thoughtlessness got the better of me... I do hope that things are on the mend at Casa Nermada, and am sending you good vibes all the days long ❤️

Hey, bite your tongue! You are TOTALLY pulling it off...your legs look like they go on and on and on (which, as an aside, is why I love jumpsuits/long fitted dresses/monochromatic top and bottom...as it makes us shorties look taller than we really are, lol) Are those thumb holes on the sleeves?? I love those things! P.S. as for the jumpsuits, i'm looking for something a little snugger than the beige one but not as snug as that denim one, lol. Plan on heading back to the store sometime soon to get a smaller size of the baggage claim suit and see if makes me feel less like needing to wear a florescent vest while holding those flashlight thingees. 😂

how about the insides of a taco? or maybe the toppings off some nachos? (would be some greens, ground meat, cheese and sauce)..or maybe a smooth gazpacho? at 3 weeks, you *likely* will not be able to eat much, it may be easier to just bring a protein shake with you and enjoy the company. good luck! ❤️

Tonight’s dinner: a vodka Caesar, lol I made the rookie mistake of eating all the garnishes while I drank it and ended up being too uncomfortable to eat my ordered dinner (roasted broccoli ceasar salad), so i just packed it up and will eat it tomorrow. Also, since I just loooove to order food off the menu, I also ordered a funnel cake come dessert time, which i also did not eat since i was enjoying my hot water with lemon (it was cold out in the patio tonight!!), and i didn’t want to feel icky again. I had every intention to take it home but gave in to a girlfriend’s drooling gaze and let her have it...it probably would’ve gotten too soggy to eat later anyway. I forgot to take a picture of it, but I assure you, it LOOKED delicious. -

Well that’s the prettiest presentation of Diner Food I have ever seen. Lol Was it good? -
I don't really know when my stomach was actually empty, honestly, but I can tell you when I no longer felt full (after feeling full): In the first few months it was 1.5 to 2.5 hours Around the year mark, it was around 1 to 1.5 hour. Now (at 2 years), its about 1 hour (less if I am only eating salad greens) P.S. I get to "full" faster, and stay full longer, when I eat denser food (in particular pork and/or shiratake noodles)

Yeah, for me (and for some others I've read on here as well). I went from a size 7.5-8 to a size 6-6.5 (US). ...I also lost some height, a little over 1/2 an inch, which is weird (though I've read of others who got taller...) -

This may not be a popular line of thinking but here goes: <!-- Deep Thoughts, BEGIN --> I think that alot of WLS folks believe that those around them would naturally share the same opinions and thoughts they themselves have about it, because, I mean, its a good thing, right? Why wouldn't anyone and everyone with a heart and a brain support and cheer someone on who wants to better themselves (for whatever reason)? The reality is that not everyone will think the same way as you. Yes, one may get disappointed and hurt when those who we care about aren't on the same page, or react/behave in a way that we don't like/want/expect. Whatever their motivations are, in the end the only thing you can control is YOU. You have 3 choices (in terms of relationships, or anything else for that matter): work to change it, accept it, or leave it (and know when to do which). Anything else is doing a disservice to yourself. I know, easier said. But I think the sooner one can recognize what things help and what things don't help (and act accordingly) for any situation, the sooner one can exist in peace and contentment, no matter what situations or people cross their paths. <!-- Deep Thoughts, END...lol --> Good Luck! P.S. Re: Dating...take it easy and try not to put too much pressure on yourself...like attracts like. Again, I know, easier said. Good Luck! ❤️ -

I will be 2 years out at the end of this month and I just got rid of pretty much all my big clothes just a little over a month ago (total 9 garbage bags of clothes & almost 2 laundry baskets of shoes). Not because I was keeping them "just in case", but because I am a lazy procrastinator and was pretty much forced to do it because I had my closet re-done, lol (Though I did keep a few too-big pj pants and sweatshirts cuz sometimes I wanna be cozy!...like I'm walking around in a blanket or something...😂) With that said, maybe getting rid of your big clothes (selling/donating/whatevs) could put you in a slightly better mindset of the new you, and subconsciously accept that you have no intention of going back. ...plus you get to buy new clothes!
