Thats so vague? Doesn't even say starting weight? I hit 225 today and I'm not even 4 months. That's 96lbs gone. 68% total loss.

Why go through Surgery if you're just going to push the boundaries and tempt yourself back into the junk food that was killing you...

    Weight Calculators

Been on my journey total of 14 weeks and I've lost 68% EBW or 95LBS
  9. Pretty much since day 5 I've been drinking water and shakes without any real issues at all.... I obviously drink less than pre surgery and smaller mouthfuls but still no problems meeting all my protein and water goals.. 11 days post tried some yoghurt high protein YOPRO again didn't feel any physical restrictions inside or while eating it.. My stomach does like to make noises and rumbles at odd times but not feeling much at the moment. I am allowed to transition into soft stuff stage 2 on day 14 that's why I got the yoghurt very soft and tasty.. Is it possible my stomach is still healing and maybe the physical restriction will come later on?? I just spent months reading about people with the RNY having all kinds of restrictions not being able to drink much at all and struggling to eat even 1oz of food.... I haven't noticed anything like that.... I know I had surgery and got the holes to prove it just expected more restriction from early on.. 11 days post op and I'm down 11lbs I just hope it keeps going and losing well maybe I'm an anomaly?? Just some days I wonder did I have surgery lols

What percent of your stomach do they take out?

Bypass they technically do not remove your stomach except create a pouch like 1oz-2oz size by stapling sutures to create that separation. I think it works out to be roughly 1/10th of the size but don't quote me on that... The sleeve VSG is the one where they remove 80+% of stomach leaving 20% vs 10% in the BYPASS. But then again different surgeons use different techniques so it's best to discuss with your specific surgeon. Hope that makes sense. Also the BYPASS is more about the bypass of the intestines than just the size of the stomach there's plenty of research material out there.

Insurance and body lift ... IT'S A JOKE

Yeah here in Australia it's near impossible to get any skin surgery of any kind unless in urgent medical necessity like life threatening otherwise insurance calls it plastic surgery.... I'm lucky I'm young and only need to lose around 120lbs so should be fine
  20. Hey there. Officially one month Post op from surgery. Feeling great. No issues at all. Still mostly on shakes with a little yoghurt or hummus if needed.. feeling satisfied 😌 Don't feel the need to move onto real foods yet. I've started drinking black tea everyday now and it actually helps feel satiety and not thinking much about food. I'm sitting between 350-450kcal a day doing well. Started my own diet 90 days ago and I'm officially down from HW 322lbs to CW 230lbs 27lbs since surgery. My next goal is to get below 220 (100KG here in Australia) then see how I look and feel once I hit 200lbs. Dietitian says 200lbs would be great! Anyways that's my latest news and I'm so happy & surgeon is so happy I'm the Easiest patient he's dealt with! No complaints. Don't have to see him again until 3 months post op. Just do routine blood tests with my local Dr. Cheers. MIKE.

    Gastric bypass or sleeve

Lies.. There's maybe 5% chance of those issues where sleeve is like 50% chance of either getting gerd or making gerd worse. Everyday I see ppl complaining about gerd and needing revisions.. I'm 4 weeks post op from RNY with not one single issue
