    What's your approval process?

If self pay then will be very quick. Some surgeons and insurance set numerous rules and regulations in my mind some are overbearing... I'm in Australia I have insurance with a co pay I got surgery within 3 months of 1st appt.

    6mpo weight loss stopped?!

Sorry to hear that... I had my surgery Oct 28 at 116.5kg I'm currently 91.5kgs but my starting weight was 146kgs back in August... My weight came off quickly but now I'm stuck with little to no movement the past week... I'm a man 6ft tall so I need to be like 80-84kgs I think the last 10kgs will be the hardest!!! You'll have to look closely at your calories and carbs etc

    What the Prep...

    Wow you really stocked up
  7. Well its that time of the week for my weekly check in. Today is 19 weeks I've been on this weight loss journey. I have to say my weight loss has slowed down too.. now it seems to take a few days to see any movements. I have started adding more real foods into my diet like tuna and mash potato which might explain things. It seems that it will take hard work to break into the 100s. As of today I'm sitting at 202lbs; I'm really hoping to get under 200 soon and eventually get to like 185 If possible I have ordered a decent rowing machine which I should get in a few weeks so that should help to move those last 20lbs as well as tighten up my belly area I've started looking into fasting where you only eat all your protein over a few hours then try fast the rest of the day with like just water and coffee and sugar free stuff...just trying to see if it will help kick my weight loss back into gear as I'm getting so close to goal!! thanks again Mike.

  11. Maybe soon once I get under that 200 mark I'm trying to get down to 185 at least 😀
  12. I've only had mash like once a week maybe like one potato worth.. just for some texture. BMI says 27.4
  13. Hey there everyone hope you had a great Xmas and new years. I'm glad to be in 2020 and I know this year will be amazing. Well I'm hovering around 203-204 the last couple days now.. I've started to notice it takes longer to see movement on the scales like it may take a few days to see any major change and it's hard to get my head around after losing weight so quickly until now... My question is for those who have reached their goal weight and healthy BMIs... I would like to get down to at least 185lbs but it seems these last 20lbs are going to be the hardest... Can anyone share their experiences how they dealt with the last 20lbs? Is there any tips should I lower my protein or up it? Should I be exercising more? I think I'm just a little impatient lol My starting weight was 322lbs Current weight is 203/204lbs Goal Weight roughly 185lbs I've started adding tuna to my diet now but still use shakes as well as its the best way to hit my protein goals! Some days I don't feel like food and shakes keep me satisfied... I'm not very active which might be an issue..... Thanks. Mike.

7 days post OP still have draining tube

Had drain for only 3 days in hospital was annoying when trying to sleep. Its like a tube that comes from inside your body and fluid and blood and stuff comes out into the drain bottle/bag and was changed everyday... I assume it helps with the bloating and fluid inside.

Yeah I feel great myself nsv I've dropped from 52 inch pants to 36/38. I can actually buy decent brands and feel good. 10 wks out from bypass 54lbs gone

    3rd times a charm!

Well I personally chose the bypass because of the change of metabolism and absorption that comes with bypassing of the intestines; I've not had one single issue and feeling great lost 119lbs so far

    Third Revision...

You do realise the sleeve is most common for creating reflux and gerd so I don't think there's anything they can do to fix that without going for a different surgery but good luck.
  23. Mines just protein and water and shake it up no foam at all
  24. Yeah shaker cup is the best way to mix If it's still foamy then it's cheap brand. I've tried many brands the good stuff mixes with out foam.
  25. Thx guys I'll have to figure it out.
