    Not seeing change

It's easy not to lose weight if you go straight back to eating junk and fat. heard of ppl blending up pizza and burgers to drink lol..

    Weird insurance question?

I think it's once every month so Like June July August but it really is up to the surgeon or the insurance
  3. Well when I started my first goal was to get to 200lbs and see how I look; I'm currently 196 and I've decided to keep going my healthy bmi says 180 so who knows where I'll end up...
  4. Well it depends on how much weight you need to lose and how quick or slow you lose it... Some people take 6 months others may take 2 years... It's a very vague question...

    gastric bypass side effects

Well if your on liquid diet you'll get the runs that's just normal I had it for about 2 weeks.. I've had bypass now for almost 3 months no major issues really.. Get light headed sometimes but I eat very low calories. I can't remember anything serious besides the usual soreness after surgery..

    Stomach pain(possible trapped gas?)

    What was it you ate
  11. I'm feeling AMAZING. I've hit 198 as of yesterday so I decided to treat myself by going and buying some new clothes and some brand names even 😀 I managed to find the smallest size I could fit into and I was shocked. Thought I'd share my latest progress photo for everyone. I've come along way from 322-198 has taken me 4.5 months so far. Please be kind 😀 I know I've gotta start really working out soon so I'm picking up a rowing machine next week which that should help a lot with my stomach area.. I really hope I can get down to 180-185 Thankyouuu. MIKEY.
  12. My issue is I haven't done much exercise or weight training so I still have some fat on my stomach area but if you're someone who works out often you might look better at 200 than me my goal was always to get under 200 then reassess so now I'm 196 I'm confident I can still lose weight.. good luck mate.
  13. 6ft - 183cm By the BMI my "healthy" range is 180lbs. I'm now 196 and I still have some flab on my belly and thighs so I'll keep going. I know another guy who got to 175lbs.

    Moving to another state

Yeah check with your new state or new surgeon in the new state
  16. There's reality only two options in my city which was sleeve or bypass RNY. I did tons of research and decided on RNY for various reasons. 1. I wanted the Malabsorption aspect. 2. I wanted greater chance of fixing my diabetes which it did pretty quickly; was off all diabetes medications within a week of surgery. 3. I wanted the metabolic changes that came with the redirection of intestines because i believe my metabolism was so bad after decades of bad food choices. 4. I wanted the most restrictive procedure available and only wanted one surgery; most of my research showed many people being revised after sleeve surgery to bypass for many reasons. I am very very happy but I've been very strict on myself from day 1. Almost 5 months later and I'm down 126lbs from highest weight. But everyone has their own preference and reasons to what surgery they like.

    SLEEVE regret

I've spoken to many people who had complications with VSG GERD reflux and slow weight loss.. Curious if anybody wish they choose RNY but for some reason insurance won't cover? Have a friend in that position! Why are doctors pushing VSG?
  21. Thanks everyone for your kind words
