    I'm so upset, I'm a slow loser

I personally see a stall as a challenge; what should I change; what have I done different lately; am I getting enough sleep? Aside from medical conditions; there has to be ways to learn from stalls?

    Protein

Yeah I usually hit 80-90g everyday I've never had hair fall out but it is growing a little thinner and slower than normal not as thick as normal before surgery.... I'm sure in a few months it will get better...

    Breaking the 3 week stall!

I've been on this journey nearly 5 months and I've had maybe 1 week of no weight loss so I must be doing something right....

    Stomach stretching

That sounds counterintuitive... You get plenty of nutrients through protein shakes and VITAMINS.. The whole idea of surgery is to eat less and smaller portions; I've never heard of anyone wanting to deliberately stretch their pouch? I'm in Australia and I get all my protein powder online at great prices I personally use SCITEC. https://www.aminoz.com.au/scitec-nutrition-100-whey-protein-pro.html Tastes like milkshakes and I only use water to mix it.

    Breaking the 3 week stall!

The key is to follow the guidelines to the letter don't try to experiment with food too early

    How long on nhs

You're best to ask the surgeon office who do the surgery? But since it's funded by your govt in my experience here In Australia to get the govt to cover the surgery there's a huge waiting list and a lot of requirements... That is why i used health insurance and paid a gap to have my surgery within months with very little requirements It is best to find a UK NHS group on Facebook or talk to local hospital to see what they require?
  9. As above they may just need you to do monthly check in. You may not lose anything and some doctors offices say not to lose anything but still need to check in every month to have the evidence to show you tried and failed so you need surgery... But yes ask your people to be sure...

Well depends on your Dr but most people need between 60-90g protein a day...

    IM SO SAD

Yeah look at ways to borrow the money. if it's only $800 surely a family member would help and you could pay them back quick enough...

    Pudding okay to eat

Preop or post? I'm not sure if jello or pudding is liquid enough? Ask your Dr.
  15. I had RNY bypass as my first ever surgery and it was easy besides a few days of pain I'm nearly 12wks post op and feel great... 65lbs gone since surgery!! Was taken off diabetes and blood pressure meds a week after surgery.. Just have to keep focus on your vitamins everyday..
  16. I literally don't even think about food much at all like some days I gotta remind myself to eat and shakes are so convenient when on the go
  17. Because I enjoy my shakes and it's the quickest way to hit protein goals.. I do have some yoghurt or hummus or tuna if I need it.. I've bought protein powder in bulk so it's gotta be used up and my surgeon said if I like shakes that's fine. If it keeps me satisfied why change it... That's also why my weight loss has been so good.

Vitamins, gummies and pills. oh my!

Some of this stuff is overkill...my surgeon said just the basics... Multivitamin and b12 and calcium+vitD that's it. but I'll be getting my first post op blood test soon to see my levels and then maybe make any adjustments needed...

    Food ideas?

Yea same here protein shakes all day.. Then yoghurt early on as its liquid like..
  20. What do you mean 6-10g a day? One shake is usually 30g I get 3 shakes a day most days. If you can't do shakes you should get protein water.. Protein is so so important to help your body heal inside and out... If too sweet add more water to shake
  21. Well I'm still using shakes mostly but I usually leave about 2-3 hrs between each shake or meal. I was able to drink a litre a day from very early now I'll drink like 3-4 litres a day and nearly 11 weeks out. Each shake is about 300mls of water and powder.
  22. Sometimes I wake up and feel light headed and off balance it happens not much we can do because on so low calories.
