    Forced to do Bypass

I had the RNY bypass and its the best choice I ever made and I've not suffered from any kind of complications at all 3 months post op today 66lbs gone since surgery 132lbs overall I definitely still feel restriction and have very little cravings and healthier than I've been in 20 years 😀

Yes I'm a vegemite kid just like I'm a weetbix kid & you're not Australian if you didn't have them in your house growing up so yes it's been hard giving up on piping hot toast with butter and vegemite mmmmm

    Are y'all like this?

Yeah I was opposite way to much carbs hungry constantly. I could eat a meal for 3 then an hour later be hungry and raiding the fridge all night... If I went to a buffet I would eat like 5 plates of food until I was told to leave then 2hrs later I would get a bucket of KFC... I was eating waaaay tooo much carbs fat sugar all the bad stuff that was killing me.. Now I'm rarely hungry. I can watch cooking shows and not even care. RNY was the best decision ever and I'm nearly at my goal already 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

    How you decided?

Tons of posts same as yours to have a look at.. I chose for the usual reasons..RNY BYPASS. I wanted the restriction. I wanted the Malabsorption. I wanted the metabolic changes that come with bypassing. I'm rarely hungry maybe I'm lucky that way. I was taken off multiple meds within a week of surgery. I've lost 130lbs in 5 months but I've been quite strict on myself...

I'm Aussie too. be careful of the milk it may have sugars. Broth may have sodium. Check sugars and carbs in everything you consume

  23. Hey there how are we all? Almost one month already gone of 2020! Its been a tough week only managed to drop just 4 lbs; my slowest week yet I believe Well I've been doing a bit of fasting the past few days. As of today I'm now 194lbs 😀😀😀 ============================== Should be picking up my new rowing machine this week and that should definitely help burn the fat off my belly area lol. Been buying new clothes and it feels great. I feel so happy and excited for the future and this surgery RNY BYPASS was the best choice ever!! Will be going to see my surgeon in a couple weeks for the 3 month post op checkup. Hopefully all my levels are good 😀 TAKE CARE. Mike.

    * WEEKLY CHECK IN DAY *

Picking up rowing machine tomorrow that should really help too 😀😀😀
  25. And personally I prefer the restriction I'll be 3 months out in a week and I'm still only eating max 3oz tuna at a time or a few slices of ham or 4oz yoghurt; there are still things that come back up... I'm in no hurry to eat big portions; the whole idea of surgery is to limit your portions. So I say you've got a double edged sword mate. Hopefully your weight loss doesn't get affected from all your intake... Also jerky is very salty...
