GabrielleSimone replied to Lovingmyselfforever's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes the water n protein was so hard to do for me at the beginning but i realize its importance so much more now plus consuming it today was not as hard as it was in the beginning when I first started 6 days ago. Thanks all -

Only 3lbs down since surgery
GabrielleSimone replied to Lovingmyselfforever's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
These are such great comments I'm 6 days out from my surgery as well and honestly considering I'm not too sure of the definate number of my weight on the day of the surgery, when I went to my 1st week follow up at my doctors today I either lost 2lbs or none (still the same weight since the surgery)...remember I said considering...lol ....however the number did seem to bother me especially since my scale at home said I actually weigh less than what was displayed on the scale at the doctors office. However I understand that eventually the lbs will drop and even though the scale says 1 things when I look in the mirror I think I really see a lil change. Either way I'm determined and more motivated than ever to loose this weight. Just like everyone here stated in thier comments this procedure is a tool and it will do what it needs to do as long as I do what I need to do and i am going to do it. Thank you all for your words and comments. This really helps and encourages me so much. Thank you. -
Hunger feelings/confusion after surgery
GabrielleSimone posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
1 week out of surgery. Approved to start soft meat protein. Went to Qdoba got a kids chicken bowl with blk beans, and cooked peppers and just a lil queso. Got home chop 3-4 table spoons of it to fit in 2 of the 1 oz medicine cup. Ate each cup in 15mins, a total of 30 and was confused that I didnt feel EXTREMELY FULL ppls have been telling me i would fell. I didnt feel full but I didnt feel hungry either, this scared me because since my stomach is smaller I feel like I should be full but I'm not. I'm scared I don't not what to fail and fall I the mind games because I dont feel full that I should eat more. Has anyone experience this? -

Hunger feelings/confusion after surgery

These are all such great comments. Thank you so much for this Intel. All this is so very new to me and I have the BIGGEST FEARING OF FAILING. I DO NOT wnt to fail. I feel this is my only chance and I have to get this right. But im glad to know that this ok and some ppl have experience this and there are ways around this. I appreciate your words so much, you have no idea how much better u made me feel. I was literally in tears earlier today because of my upset and fear of not feeling that full sensation. I'm sure my liquid intake before the approval of eating protein meats had much to do with my not so quite fullness as well. Today made me realize how important fluids are so that when it's time to eat I may feel the fullness I need to train my brain my limit...maybe?!? 🤷♀️ -
