Hello all!
I am scheduled for RNY gastric bypass surgery on 12/3 with St. Luke’s Allentown, PA. I am both excited and frightened to death! I’ve been pretty good on my pre-surgery diet consuming between 1,000-2,000 calories per day and doing my 10,000 steps a day. Any post op RNY’ers here that can tell me what to expect going forward? I am kinda scared of the pain immediately after surgery and any pain going forward. Anyone care to share their experiences? The good? The bad?
Also, forum open to anyone else getting surgery in December!! I am new here so sorry if there is any previous threads covering this.
