I had lap band procedure about 10 years ago and lost 50 lbs. In November, 2018 I had lap band removed due to complications. Now March 19, 2019 I am having gastric bypass. My husband is a disabled veteran and it is important for me to regain my health so that I can better help him. I am a very independent, strong willed person, but he is the center of my universe. We have been together over 40 years. At 66 it is hard to imagine that I would have chosen this path for myself, but I feel this will be the best for me.
