Hi All. I was banded on April 9th. Today is the third day in and i havent been able to get more then a few sips of water in me. I was hoping today would be better when i woke up i tried to get some water in me and the first 2 small sips are just sitting in my throat. My gas pains seem to be gone. According to my Doc i should be starting shakes today. No way that;s happening. Anyone else still have trouble getting in fluids on day 3?

so i am writing this from my hospital room. i have some inflamation around my band which is causing pressure on my diaphragm causing intense pain. ill be here a couple of days. i was hoping for a smoother start.

Im not Dwayne, Sorry. Just an update since posting this message. The 2 sips of water i had a little while ago are still sitting in my throat. I have a feeling i am on my way back to the hosp. I'm starting to regret my decision.

Hi All, Finally got my surgery date after 6 months. I can't wait. This forum has been a great resource for me. I have to lose over 100 pounds and I can't wait to get started. If i can pull it off i plan on being very involved in supporting others who are going through the same thing.
