That’s what I thought too, but I have sashimi regularly and the only difference yesterday was a little more soy sauce.

Dumping syndrome. Yes urgent bathroom need, severe nausea, felt faint, hot and cold and very tired. It’s horrible. I’ve been completely avoiding sugar which Iv been told is the main trigger.

I took my daughter shopping and we had sashimi for lunch but I had a little more soy sauce then I have done since surgery. I think that is what triggered it. Anyway 20 minutes later started feeling really rough and rushed home. OMG this is horrendous.

My band to bypass operation has been booked two weeks before Christmas. I wanted it as soon as possible so sticking to that date, just a little concerned that it is so close to Christmas. Assuming no complications, am I likely to be able to have the odd day out, theatre trip etc, that soon after surgery? I have 2 kids, so still would like to do some things with them.

No advice but I am having a conversion from lapband to bypass. I have been given the date 8th December but have asked if they have anything sooner, it’s so close to Christmas!!

I had the band fitted 8 years ago, never lost weight with it. I have nothing in it now and still struggle to eat meat, vegetables and fruit with it. And eating out is so stressful as I often bring stuff up. Oh and my port often aches. Revision to a bypass hopefully at the end of this month/ beginning of December. I CANT WAIT TO GET THIS THING OUT!

I gained weight after having it put in 😳. I’ve lost the weight I gained so am back to where I started. My BMI is 35 , so would like to get into a healthy range.
