Thank goodness! I am 2 1/2 weeks out VGS and have a second belly button I am concerned about. I sure hope mine flattens out. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

What is the most powerful, gut-exploding laxative I can buy OTC?

Milk of Magnesia will do the trick. Watch our though. Explosions may occur. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app -

So far I've been okay without the NSAIDS. During the pre-diet, it got kind of rough but since the surgery, it seems to have eased up. I think the new diet reduces inflammation. Massages also help. Good luck to you!

Ahhh. Lots of different advice. They were listed as an option in my instructions so I jumped on it. Not a big fan of pills. I haven't had any post-op tests yet so time will tell. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

My friend who is 2.5 years post-op said it took a while for the weight loss to kick in but then it just fell off. You are doing good so just keep it up. I'm 4 days post-op and have only lost 2 oz. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

Try the vitamin patches instead of the pills. No nausea!

My first week was horrible! I went in for the sleeve and they found a large hiatal hernia which needed repair and I had a ton of scar tissue from the previous lapband that they removed. So I was very very nauseous. I had surgery on a Monday 10/1 and Friday I was back in the hospital for iv fluids. I was in so much pain and so nauseous I couldn’t drink. I went back to work the following Monday (I had no choice) and I also have 3 kids. So I have been tired and definitely pushing it a little too much but doing a bit better. Adding some substance other than fluids helped my nausea. I’m down 26 lbs (14 from pre op and 12 since surgery) pretty happy just wish I was stronger. And my back is killing me also still!!! It has been a roller coaster! I hope you’re doing ok and feel better. OMG. So sorry to hear. I also had a hiatal hernia but it was small. They sent nausea meds home with me that I took for one day. Little pills that dissolve under tongue. You are certainly a trooper going back to work so soon and well on your way to your goal. Keep up the great work. Hopefully you will feel better soon!

Hello. I'm a 10/15 sleeve myself. Have chronic neck pain and can't take NSAIDS for 8 weeks according to the doc. All we can take is extra strength Tylenol which doesn't do nuch. I haven't had headaches but feel your pain.

Hi. My surgery date was 10/15, prep diet began 10/1 and my highest weight was 228.6. I don't know about you but my first 48 hours were pretty rough. My back hurt as much as my front but now that I'm 4 days postop, I'm doing pretty darn good.

I live in Kansas City and paid $15K for the by-pass. It includes Everything. KU Medical Center. Surgery is next Monday. Wish me luck.
