2 weeks after sleeve need advice
Jazzy1125 replied to Jdymitc's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
get unflavored protein and add it to your food. Genepro is a good one. -
Just plowed through my first stall! It lasted about 3 weeks and finally broke this past weekend. I am not sure what caused it. I know i should count my lucky stars for being this far out and just now hitting one. I am hoping i still lose this coming week but maybe it was a fluke that the scale moved. i did however lose inches.. I went down to a size 12 yesterday. Thought i was going to die LOL.

Stalling and hunger pangs

you will constantly feel like eating is a chore. I am just about 8 months out and am still constantly tired of eating.. not necessarily tired of eating, but of the hiccups, and runny noses.. LOL.. I have learned to eat slow and not get to the full feeling.. However last night for the first time i trapped air from a protein shake.. worst feeling ever! -
FELL OFF THE WAGON FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 10 MONTHS
Jazzy1125 replied to VIKING 0424's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
we all hit some sort of slip.. this is a journey and you have recognized what you did and got back on track! Eating bad goods once did not make us big, eating it daily did, so as long as you face the obstacle and overcome it, you will be back on track in no time.. Do not Fret! -
I finally made it to Onderland! I am not sure how i feel about it. I am almost wanting to wait to lose another 2 pounds to make it Official! I do not ever recall being in the 1's LOL.. Mixed emotions over here!

how often did you feel buyers remorse having the surgery
Jazzy1125 replied to johnedwin's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
7 months out and do not have one single regret!!! However, I did a lot of research before going into this as i was self pay and wanted to make sure i knew the ins and outs of what i was getting myself into. -
Takes about 30 min, sometimes less or more depending on if i am drinking it while driving or working LOL.

Thanks...example 8ts 1130 am and now going to eat some breakfast as I was too busy and forgot..eating now is always a mindful step

Bever lol but I do make sure I eat 3 times a day and get my protein..and take all my vitamins..I struggle getting in enough water daily..its a conscious effort..I do get a pit feeling someimes which tells me I need to eat something, drink something, or walk off dancefloor lol..doesn't happen often but I have to determine which of the 3 is missing something lol

I actually do not go to the gym I take ballroom dance classes a few times a week for hour or 2 each time. I was going to the gym but then the weight loss slowed so I stopped because I still don't eat a lot I do plan I'm going back to the gym starting next month I stopped in gym mid February but plan on going back after this weekend I also had the sleeve and that was done on November 8th

Jazzy1125 replied to michellehill's topic in Food and Nutrition
Walden Farms is a really good Brand. So far i have liked everything i tried from them EXCEPT one thing.. the peanut butter.. it was more like PB flavored Jello.. I dont like Jello lol so this was the worst for me.. But the other stuff.. I havent really found something of theirs i did not like, having said that. I do not buy it often. I like to be creative with what i have. -
I know everybody is telling you it will get better. I know sometimes it is hard to hear but it is 100% true. As the days go on it gets better and better, and before you know it you will be back to normal routines, still not eating alot, but back to normal routines and having fun. I had mine done in Nov.. both Thanksgiving and Christmas and my Birthday ( In Nov) were hard, but my family is very supportive and they made it fun, and un food related! You will have food police, and you just have to nip that in the bud really early on. You will slip but not fail as long as you stay focused on why you did this in the first place. With the goal ( reason) staying in sight, it will keep you on plan for the long run! Welcome to the Losers Bench and have fun with this.. It truly brings out your creative side in the kitchen

Idk about my surgeon
Jazzy1125 replied to natalibena92's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had liquids for 2 weeks after then puree for 2 weeks after.. then soft for 2 weeks and the 4th set of two weeks was solids. -
The best way to change habits is one at a time. Keep in mind it takes 3 weeks to make a habit and 3 days to break a habit. Work on changing step by step so you are prepared for when surgery time gets here. If you try to change all at once your will set yourself up for failure.

I agree with Grady, If your mindset failed you first time around, you have to get that set before you seek out another surgery. Try doing the reset first and get back on track before you go for another surgery. I believe you can do it!
