right now i am doing ballroom dance lessons 3-4 days a week. I want to join a gym but want to go for personal training. I am tryng to make a decision between Golds Gym (Fitness CF- for central florida) or LA Fitness. I need to find out if either gym has a contract for personal trainers and then decide from there. I do not need the gym for cardio as i get cardio from the dance studio and have a treadmill at home. I will figure this out by the end of next week.

Good Luck. I am far from a year out, but will answer this when the time comes. So far i am in month 3 and have no desires to cheat LOL

becareful with the knorr and salt.. as salt is a dehydrator and you want to get as much water as you can. Each Dr is different whether its clear or full liquids. You can also get some beef broth to switch it up some to not get bored.

I took swift Kriss ( also a senna product) at 6pm.. the dosage is 2 tablets and i only took 1. by 4 AM.. NOTHING was working I then took 2 more( the recommended dosage) and by 11am it worked, but it was not pleasant like other times where it made it easier.. I need to figure something out.. I am going back to banana pancakes with coconut flour tomorrow. Last time i ate those i went every day.. today i was ok but not the best experience. I am not sure smooth move will help any as i believe it moved it but was not any easier to expell.

There will be stalls.. keep in mind this is a journey and it takes time. I was stepping on the scale daily and it could be frustrating if it doesnt move. The best thing to do is to remove the scale or have somebody hide it so you dont have access to it but once a week.

Maybe it is just me, but tonight i decided to make meatballs. I am 5 weeks post op and on softs, and one more week to go before i can have normal foods. Today i had a case of the foamies.. during lunch at work and spent a good hour and a half with my head over a waste basket all because i took the 2 final sips of my protein shake.. and then proceeded to heat up my chicken (made in a slow cooker). Not sure if i didnt chew enough or if it was because i had the two sips and didnt wait.. anyways.. i came home and had one more go of the same chicken.. and i was totally fine. I made meatballs tonight because i am flying to DC tomorrow and i wanted to take one for lunch and 2 on the plane since my flight leaves at between lunch and dinner. Sorry for the ramble, but anyways, I made low carb meatballs ( no breadcrumbs) and i tried one tonight to see how they taste.. and they were very good. As i went to log it in my fitness pal I about died when i saw the 1.5 ounce (raw) meatball after cooked had 12 grams of fat, and 174 calories. I am seriously sad... I need to find a new way to make these... ( I also added genpro so the protein was 17 for one.. I was happy about that LOL) Anyways, just needed to vent! Thanks

Vitamins and Calcium Routines
Jazzy1125 replied to Swanton_Bomb's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree, this is a conversation and question for your surgeon. I think even when it comes to vitamins and such each dr. is different. For example. I am almost 8 weeks out and have not started calcium or iron yet. He has me on multi vitamins only and said the others will come later. Try to follow your Doctors orders and not orders of those in here as we are NOT doctors, and your doctors plan may differ from somebody elses. The only thing i know is iron and calcium need to be taken a few hours apart because they counteract each other. -
Happy Holidays! This was my first year not participating in the food aspect of the holidays but that is ok because i had a great time without all the food.

I am about to attempt to make arepas with cauliflower and extra genpro. Will let you know the recipe and taste when i am done. If you are of a latin background, you will know how awesome this will be to be able to eat these without going too carb high! I will give an update and stats upon completion. I am just super excited to try and make them.

these came out really good. 1 1/2 cup of grated cauliflower, 1 egg, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.. mix in a food processor. I added 2 scoops of genepro to add extra protein. use 1/4 and spread into circles on greased cookie sheet. bake for 12 min and let cool. Came out really good!

I am going to try and start weekly i guess. I dont know LOL i just know i need to stop stepping on it every day.

Jazzy1125 replied to Diana Gay's topic in Food and Nutrition

I am only 7 weeks out and the coffee actually taste pretty good. The other day i used chocolate premier.. and peppermint torani and made a peppermint mocha coffee. -

Good Luck on your Journey! -
i use pure protein for my shakes with some torani syrup, and genepro if i am cooking.

my surgeon said no more than 100g of protein per day from the shakes.. so the lower the protein content the more you can have pre op. I had up to 6 shakes a day but my shakes only had 10g of protein which allowed me up to 6. I never drank all 6 because i had chicken broth for lunch and dinner to break it up some, but also was drinking decaf coffee and liquid shakes and water.. I was full the entire 2 weeks.
