    Dizziness

Dizziness started last week (6 weeks post surgery) and the doc said it was my low blood pressure (always have had) plus the quite fast weight loss leading my circulation to be a bit out of whack so its the orthostatic hypotension but ALL THE TIME. Anyone have any good tips on how to reduce it (its affecting me at work, I get dizzy just moving from my desk to a conference room and it takes a while to go away)- electrolytes in my water or ???

    October 2018 Sleevers

Sleeve 4 october, already on soft solid food (Swiss protocols are different) but had to add in some shakes to get enough protein. I am having trouble getting more than 1.25 L per day of water, adding in a couple of shakes helped get more protein and also liquids (I can count them as both :-)) definitely eat really slowly with meat and do the softest kind of prep (baked, poached/sautee in water). You can live on shakes but do try to add in one or two bites of whatever is allowed, its a work your way up sort of thing.

    October 2018 Sleevers

Sleeve Scheduled for 4 October. Will be in hospital for ca. 5 days, at least 2 weeks off work. Doing this because of comorbities (BMI "only" 35). Pre-op diet is so boring. I miss crunchy foods! there are only so many carrots you can eat. Here in Switzerland my doctor/center I don't have to do liquids before the surgery, just basic no-carb, low fat, high protein. some veggies allowed. Things are really different from the US regimens even after surgery I think.
